Eli Suzuki-Gill Photography

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $2,500
  • Serves Piru, CA

Your wedding day is filled with once-in-a-lifetime moments, and I’m here to capture them in a way that feels natural, effortless, and truly you. With a calm presence and an eye for storytelling, I focus on the real, unscripted moments—the quiet hand squeezes, the deep belly laughs, the happy tears—so you can relive them for years to come. My approach is simple: Be a steady, supportive presence, document your day with care, and make sure you feel comfortable in front of the camera. Whether you're camera-shy or love being in the spotlight, I'll guide when needed and step back when the magic happens naturally.

As a fellow professional in the wedding photo industry, Eli is the only person I trusted to take my wedding photos. He is kind, trustworthy, and a true artist that treats every wedding like it's worth photographing. There are too many people in this industry who will treat your wedding like just another job, Eli is NOT one of those people. Booking with Eli is something we will be happy we did for the rest of our lives, the photos are a part of our home, and bring a smile each and every time we look at them.

Adam Kent Photography

5.0

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Serves Piru, CA

I want the photos of my wedding that I don’t have –; that capture the moments of affection between our family members; that remind us of the little details and big feelings of that day. I want the photos of my father-in-law walking my wife down the aisle, six months before he unexpectedly passed away. Those photos don’t exist. Instead, I have a handful of blurry, poorly edited images, the half-hearted efforts of an amateur photographer who didn’t yet know what he was doing with a camera. At that time I didn’t know the value of a professional wedding photographer, so I didn’t make the investment and it’s one of the biggest mistakes I’ve made.

Adam is an absolute delight to work with! We used him for our engagement and wedding photos and not only did he have us laughing the entire time, but all of the photos came out better than I could ever imagine. Adam has the perfect eye for lighting and framing. 100/10 would recommend

We are experts in photojournalism, offering couples an unmatched level of value for their wedding photography and video services.

Awarded Best of Zola
Hiring Eivan’s for our wedding was a great decision! Our photographer Gregory I was professional and FUN! He kept us smiling throughout the day with his quirky personality! My fiancé does not care for photos so I’m happy we had someone working with us who could make him comfortable. He made sure to get multiple images even if it was just “one more”, it was never one more! We had actually hired a different photographer and we replaced him with this company. Worth the stress and money! If I had any tips for the company, it would be to have your photographers give a 30 minute warning before their contracted time is up. Weddings are so busy for the bride and groom, it is very easy to lose track of time. I think clients would appreciate a little heads up just so they can try and capture any photos they may have missed. Other than that, I have ZERO complaints. Such an amazing experience! 10/10 highly recommend :)

We are incredibly grateful Xenia was our engagement/wedding photographer and couldn't be happier with the results! The photos will speak to her technical talent; her professionalism and dedication to her craft are evident in every shot. It was so hard for me to only select 6 photos. What the images don't explicitly show is that Xenia was an absolute joy to work with. She is clear, transparent, and helpful in her communication. Her straightforward and friendly communication ensured we were always on the same page and felt supported throughout the process. While shooting, she is organized and efficient. We got every shot we hoped for and then some. Her enthusiasm and joy were infectious. She made these two awkward nerds feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera. We cannot recommend Xenia enough! We will cherish the photos you took forever!

We are a wedding + elopement duo serving the Nashville area + some other special places that make us happy. We can’t wait to meet you! I'm a CA based and travel wedding photographer. I've photographed almost 200 weddings, and every single one goes by so quickly. I love my job because even though the day goes by fast, I get to find and capture those small moments, sometimes just a fraction of a second long, so they can be relived over and over in photographs. I have a photojournalistic and documentary style, plus 9 years of wedding experience under my belt, so trust me that I've got it while you are able to fully enjoy your day and be present.

Awarded Best of Zola
This has taken me a little while to get to writing as after wedding day life has been a little chaotic but wanted to express praise where it was well deserved. Holly exceeded my husband and I's expectations as our photographer on our wedding day. Not only was she extremely professional, but she was kind, personable and very helpful. The photos ended up coming out GORGEOUS! We just could not be happier with her and are definitely going to be recommending her to anyone seeking a photographer.

Marijo was such a pleasure to meet and be photographed by. She put my partner and I at ease immediately, and we had so much fun shooting for an hour in Malibu (despite the wind and high tide!). We loved our photos and would suggest Marijo to anyone. We’re already looking forward to scheduling some family shots later this year!

I’m Mysi (pronounced, boringly, “Missy”)! I’ve been at this thing for 12 years and I keep falling more and more in love with it all. Give me intimate micro-weddings, quirky dive bar weddings, raucous South Asian weddings... my team and I absolutely thrive in chaos and emotion. My specialty is catching the moments and those tiny moments in between. ✨✨✨

Awarded Best of Zola
We met with a lot of photographers and Mysi blew them out of the water! In terms of competitive pricing, working within our budget, amazing creativity, phenomenal bubbly dedicated personality, and just overall being an asset to the entire process. Mysi really got what we were looking for. She was also so open and non-judgmental. (She even did boudoir shots at our delicate request, and I felt so comfortable with her.) She made sure to ask what I as the bride was concerned about with photos and how I wanted to end up looking. (Most of us in this culture have some kind of body issue, and she’s very sensitive and understanding.) I think I told her I wanted to look like a badass from a movie, and she completely delivered. As a bonus, she also worked extremely well with my mother-in-law. By the end, it really felt like I had hired a best friend I didn’t know I had. And the end product was everything we wanted, from sci-fi action thriller, to achingly beautiful art shots. Mysi really ran the range with her art. Easy responsive communication, reliable…. Just great. We were tough clients with a lot of special requests and unique situations, and Mysi just crushed it. Highly recommend.

We couldn't be more thrilled with the exceptional service provided by our photographers! From the moment they arrived, punctual and ready, they went above and beyond to ensure every moment was captured flawlessly. Not only did they have an eye for the big picture, but they also attended to the smallest details, like fixing Anthony's tie or assisting Ada with her dress buttons, making sure everything was picture-perfect. Communication was seamless throughout the entire process. They were attentive, responsive, and truly invested in understanding our vision. Additionally, We were amazed by how quickly they delivered sneak peeks the very next day, allowing us to relive the magic instantly (and honestly every time someone asks how the wedding was). Even though they're based in Texas, we would not hesitate to rebook them for any future events. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care for their clients make them stand out in the industry. Thank you for making our special day even more memorable! 5 stars without a doubt.

MA & CA Your wedding isn’t just a sequence of events—it’s a mix of energy, quiet pauses, and the moments in between that hold the most meaning. You want a photographer who sees the unscripted, the unfiltered, and the unexpected—the things that make your day yours. I work with couples who value nostalgia, emotion, and a little edge in their wedding story. The ones who want their photos to feel like them—unposed, unforced, and unrepeatable. Whether it’s the weight of a glance, the rush of the dance floor, or the way your hands find each other in the middle of it all, every image is a keepsake of your story—without trends, AI edits, or formulas

Awarded Best of Zola

Gabbie Burseth Photo

5.0

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $7,200
  • Serves Piru, CA

Gabbie Burseth grew up documenting everything and saving mementos in empty Christmas boxes. After studying at the Grady School of Journalism at the University of Georgia, she discovered an affinity for weddings and their accompanying treasures. Her philosophy as a wedding photographer is to observe with as little interference as possible — no faking it, no do-overs, no “for the camera”. Her biggest desire is for couples to be present at their wedding, not stuck in a photoshoot. Her work is punctuated by rich and vibrant color, the timeless quality of analog film, and a sense of humor found in fleeting moments.

Awarded Best of Zola
The professionalism, raw talent, and sweet demeanor are only a few of the exquisite gifts Gabbie offers. If you are looking for a photographer who is the complete package, look no further. When selecting wedding vendors, every blog post will tell you that choosing your photographer is one of the most important (if not the most important). However, little information is provided after that tidbit, which can be daunting for an excited (albeit overwhelmed) bride who wants every detail of their wedding to be perfect. Sean, my now husband, and I had selected our venue, The 1909 in Topanga Canyon, CA., and our coordinator, Allison, with West Events LA, provided us with a list of her preferred vendors -- insert us coming across Gabbie. I remember going to her website, scrolling through her work, and being enamored with how each photo captured a different emotion and feeling. We both immediately knew that from looking at her work alone, we wanted our photos to look and feel the same. After sending an inquiry and coordinating a call, Gabbie & I spoke on the phone for close to an hour about what we had in mind for our wedding, and I remember it all clicking when Gabbie described her work as "documentary" style. Sean and I knew we didn't want a videographer for our wedding, so Gabbie's techniques and overall vision aligned perfectly with what Sean and I wanted. We also opted to do a round of engagement photos with Gabbie 5 months before our wedding, where she came into our home to take photos of us in our most comfortable and natural state (chasing our dogs around the yard) and then for a shoot at a local winery that we love to go to. Not only did we have such a fun and great experience, but we also felt so comfortable and relaxed with Gabbie. We almost forgot we were there to have our photos taken! We received the gallery back shortly after and were so thrilled. Fast-forward to our wedding, we had hired Gabbie a second shooter for 8 hours. They met us at the venue for the final getting-ready details around 1 pm and stayed through to a good portion of the dance floor, around 9 pm. They arrived promptly and were even extra helpful with Sean when getting his suit on! While those details may seem minor to some, it was that unique care and attention from both Gabbie and her second shooter that made Sean & I, and all of our guests, feel so beautiful and confident to be themselves. When Sean and I got our gallery back, we spent a solid three hours scrolling through every captured moment, laughing, crying, and squealing with excitement. I am not exaggerating when I say that seeing the captured images and how Gabbie so beautifully arranged them in the album was purely magic. Any time we go through the album, we genuinely feel transported back to that day, and there is no doubt in my mind it is because of Gabbie's pure mastery of her craft. As part of her thorough questionnaire, one of the questions was what percentage of digital-to-film prints we would like, and for ours, we chose 50:50. I'm so glad we opted for film, and I almost wish we had had more because these photos are indeed what dreams are made of. The icing on the cake, Gabbie also wrote us an adorable card after the wedding, which included 3 of the film prints. Sean & I will forever be grateful to Gabbie for her work and friendship. We love you!!

I specialize in creating uniquely personalized images that will set your photos apart from the rest. I am stealthy and observant, catching all of the little moments that end up meaning so much more. Feedback from clients includes my seamless workflow and calm demeanor made for a stress-free photo experience and that I achieved the perfect mix of natural and directed moments that do not come off as stiff or posed. In addition to photography and videography I also specialize in designing unique "photobooth" sets for you and your guests to have stylized photos without tracking down the photographer.

I wish I could leave more stars! We had a vision of taking fun photos in the bar we met for our engagement and Bri brought that vision to the next level! She’s an artist and a professional, who really listens and takes care in every shot. She not only made sure we were happy with the experience but she let us in the process to make sure we would capture what we wanted. I’m an extremely camera shy bride but you would never know from looking at the end result. Bri made me feel so confident and comfortable. I forgot about the camera pressure or how my body might look because I trusted her and the process, and i’m so happy I did. Even the playlist she had set the right vibe and we could really relax to get photos that feel like us!
