We had our wedding at Ludlow Mansion in Monroe WI and it was fantastic. Penny and Greg are great and easy to work with throughout the entire process. Our guests continued to comment throughout the night how the venue was beautiful. Our wedding was in April and they were so accommodating to moving the ceremony to be inside instead of outside the morning of the wedding. I highly recommend going with the three day package as it made everything less stressful. I cannot say enough how happy we were to have our wedding at Ludlow and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for that all in one place for their weddings!

The Evergreen Room, our banquet facility, is nestled in a beautifully landscaped hillside. We had our wedding reception at the Oconomowoc Community Center and were very pleased with both the venue and the staff. They were always prompt and thorough in responding to our questions during the planning process, which we really appreciated. The space itself was clean, open, and well-maintained - perfect for our reception. The staff let us bring decor in the day before so we could decorate and get everything ready easier day of, which was a huge help in making our wedding day run smoothly. If you're looking for an affordable venue option in the Oconomowoc area with great communication and service, we'd definitely recommend checking out the community center!

I used this venue as a caterer for my wedding in Burlington, WI. The food is PHENOMENAL. When we attended the tasting, I was blown away by how good everything was. My husband, who is a VERY picky eater, loved all the food we tried and said that the chicken alfredo was the best he'd ever eaten. The salad we chose (cranberry and goat cheese) was to die for. I would have just eaten that if I could have! Everyone we worked with was fantastic. Natalie was with me at the end of our journey, and she was so helpful and knowledgeable. When questions arose about certain things, she always found the answer for me and got back to me in a timely manner. I never had questions that went unanswered and she constantly kept me in the loop with billing, options, etc. The staff who served our food on the day of our wedding, including the woman who worked with myself and my husband (I can't remember her name), were amazing. They were so helpful, made sure we had food to go home with, and that everything was up to our expectations. The ONLY downfall was they took our food when we got pulled out to take pictures for sunset, but I put that blame more on our coordinator than on the staff working for Tuscan Hall. We were able to get food back at the table and to take back to the hotel with us. If you are looking for a caterer (or a venue as their venue is also very beautiful), I would DEFINITELY recommend you look into them. They are also very reasonably priced in an industry that seems to prey on people getting married to add more money to the bill. Everything was fully explained and for the quality and quantity of food served, it was exceptionally reasonable.

Milford Hills Hunt Club was the perfect venue for our wedding day. We primarily communicated with them over email which was always prompt and detailed. The outdoor space was gorgeous and made for a beautiful ceremony backdrop. The indoor space is on the smaller side but worked well for our wedding of about 150 guests. Heidi, the on-site coordinator, was phenomenal - her organization and communication really allowed my husband and I to relax and soak in being newlyweds. The food provided by Milford Hills was delicious and having the ceremony, reception and catering all handled by one vendor streamlined the planning process. It's a stunning venue with an accommodating staff that helped contribute to our special day.

We got married at Mercantile Hall on 11/2/2024, and it was an absolute dream! The coordinator packages are worth every penny—Stephanie stepped in during the final weeks and went above and beyond, she and the staff even brought drinks to the head table and our parents during dinner. The in-house services are so convenient, and the new getting-ready suite is gorgeous and perfect for a relaxing morning. The entire team was incredible throughout our two-year planning process—fun, professional, and detail-oriented. Every vendor had told us how amazing they are to work with, and they see why as they executed our day flawlessly. The venue is stunning, spacious yet intimate, and our guests haven’t stopped complimenting it. Merc. Sound handled our DJ, and Nate was fantastic! **Bonus for pet parents: Merc is pet-friendly, and our pups were so welcomed, making the day extra special. When my husband and I stumbled across Halverson House and set up a tour, the instant we pulled in the drive we were blown away by the beauty and overall comfort of what this place has to offer. I remember stepping out of the car and instantly getting goosebumps stunned by all the beautiful scenery. Joi, Mike & their amazing family & staff made us feel like part of the family right away. They made sure every single detail of our wedding was perfect, and we cannot thank them enough because our day was nothing less than that. The entire day was completely stress-free! They truly care about you, and their passion for bringing families together is just so amazing. They have created an absolute gorgeous venue and have worked so hard for this. Starting from the first call we had with Amelia (Sales Manager in charge of their room blocks) last November while Jonathan (Wedding-Catering Sales Manager) was out of the office, we knew The Abbey was going to be an amazing venue to work with. Her vibrant personality could be felt over the phone, and made me feel like we’d known her for years. This rang true through every single phone call and email we had during our wedding planning, all the way through being onsite for our wedding week. Amelia is friendly, approachable, a great listener, accommodating, timely, and hospitable to name just a few. We genuinely felt like she cared about the success of our wedding, and the experience that our guests were going to have. She went as far as working with the reservations team to ensure we got a suite that was previously reserved when it opened up, customizing our wedding block to fit our guests’ needs, helping ensure guest welcome bags were distributed, and welcoming us for our stay with a gift basket note. We truly believe we would have ended up having our wedding elsewhere if I hadn’t tracked her down last November. Similar to Amelia - from the first time we connected with Jonathan to start planning our wedding, we knew we had something unique in our venue team, and felt confident we’d be in great hands throughout the process. Jonathan always responded to our frequent emails in an extremely timely manner – often right away even when we told him to wait until business hours – and it often felt like he was one step ahead of us. He was extremely helpful with providing his industry expertise, guiding our decision making based on previous experience with weddings / large events, and felt confident that he ultimately had our best interests in mind. He helped us incorporate unique components / details to our wedding that our guests are still talking about, and gave us the sweetest welcome package in our suite! (And recommended we book a great secluded suite!) Jonathan somehow was able to accommodate all of our requests in some way or another, and always made us feel like he was so personally invested. We never could have imagined working with someone so responsive, flexible, detail-oriented, and somehow as passionate about our wedding as we were. His organizational and coordination skills shined exceptionally throughout the last 10 months – even the day after the wedding he was helping us move things out of the ballroom and transferring flowers to brunch. He was truly there every step of the way. We have not been able to stop raving about both Jonathan and Amelia to anyone who asks, and can confidently say we don’t have any negative feedback to share about our experience. Our guests have been the same way and have all been positively commenting on their whole experience. Any challenges that came up throughout our process were always met with solutions, a clear path forward, and their team going above and beyond. Jonathan and Amelia were even there to see us out the Monday after our wedding as we departed, and made not only us but also our parents feel like family. Truly everyone from check-in, Greg at valet, and restaurant spa staff, to the catering events teams and management being open to our ever changing requests ( and keeping up with our large group size) – everyone was so accommodating to work with. We cannot say more positive things about the staff, venue, and our experience!

We recently had our wedding at 10 South on Friday, November 1st, and the experience was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. From our initial tour to the day of the wedding and every meeting in between, the team at 10 South, especially Lindsay (Venue Manager) and Audrey (Event Manager), went above and beyond to make our day seamless. They took the stress out of planning with their coordinator packages, in-house DJ, and trusted list of preferred caterers, allowing us to fully enjoy the process. Their recommendations for furniture and decor rentals were spot on, making it easy to create the perfect atmosphere. I genuinely can’t recommend 10 South enough—if I could plan ten more weddings, I would host them all here!

We could not have imagined a more perfect venue for our day. Everyone at Nippersink was beyond kind and helpful on the day of and for the entire year leading up to the wedding. Jaclyn was a dream to work with. She answered all of my many questions and was so flexible and accommodating. She always responded very promptly and went above and beyond in answering any questions or requests. Paul, the owner, and his wife were equally helpful and kind. I loved how personable their entire family was. My now husband and I kept saying throughout the whole wedding planning process how lucky we were to find Nippersink. Some examples of how they went above and beyond: buying my favorite flavored water and Malibu to use as a signature drink, allowing us to add on an appetizer a week before the wedding, sending us pictures of all of the available decor to use (they have so many great options available!), giving us the nicest gift day of, being flexible in the rehearsal dinner timing, and allowing us to have our ceremony at the venue with only 4 months notice when our church fell through. Besides their family being the sweetest, they have created such a wonderful space! The new wooden tables and chairs are gorgeous, the hotel was just redone, the grounds are beautiful and the food was delicious. We have gotten SO many compliments from guests about how much they loved the venue and were told from a guest it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had! We truthfully could not have had a better experience and we are so thankful to everyone at Nippersink on the Lake for that! Five stars just isn’t enough!

The Bowery was the first and only venue that my now husband and I toured. We took one step onto this property and instantly fell in love. The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable and they made everything so easy for planning! From checklists, to tipping guides, to responding (kindly) to my endless emails- we couldn’t have asked for more. I have to give a special shoutout to Hannah, who’s coordinating services we added onto our day. She truly understood and executed my wedding vision better than I could’ve ever imagined. We felt like we were part of the family here and not just another couple. If you’re looking for a place that is more than a venue- this is it.

We came across this venue and from the moment we walked in the doors we were in awe. From the old ticket booth to the beautiful wood bar, the stage and the stunning chandelier you can see from the outside, it is so very special. We had our wedding 6/15/24 at the blue stem farms and events. When I say this venue is breathtaking, it has everything you’re looking for in a rustic style barn. We ended up having an amazing wedding at Scenic View Country Club in October 2020. The space is nicely laid out and provides plenty of room with dance floor, huge bar and separate dining area. The wrap around porch provided nice outdoor space and would be great for cocktail hours, weather permitting. The views of the trees and green provided a great backdrop for ceremony and pictures. When COVID hit, there were a few changes in their event coordinators which made us a little nervous but once we got Clarissa a few months before our day, that all changed. Clarissa and her staff really made our day special. She was organized and great at communication leading up to our day. Planning a wedding in 2020 wasn't easy but I appreciated Clarissa's flexibility and help as we got closer. Day of, she was so helpful keeping us on track and making sure everything ran smoothly. We had some rain scheduled but still wanted to keep the ceremony outside if possible. We luckily got a window before our ceremony began and the staff was out there wiping off chairs and leaf blowing puddles so I wouldn't get my dress wet. Throughout the night, the staff continued to do an amazing job with serving dinner and keeping our guests happy! We were also very impressed with the food and heard nothing but good things from guests. Overall, we were thrilled with our experience and very happy with our choice to have our special day at Scenic View!

The venue was beautiful. We loved the view of the city and the river. We loved that you could be inside or go outside on the terrace. The food was amazing! I've been to plenty of weddings that the food was mediocre, but this food was fresh and cooked perfectly! The bartenders were great mixologist. I would definitely recommend!

We loved our beautiful fall wedding at iron works. We lived out of state (but I'm originally from the area) and the team worked with us long distance via email and phone to get the details together for the event. After shopping around I soon realized this was the BEST spot to have a wedding in the stateline area that is connected to a hotel. There's nothing classy in Rockford, it's all run down and gross but Iron works was classy and had the right vibe and price wasn't over the top (It was still expensive but palatable). I will menton we had our actual ceremony at Nicholas Conservatory in Rockford which was amazing but Iron Works was thee place for the reception. The place is industrial but has sexy vibes with the leather and strong iron beams with a nod to the city's past. The event space was beautiful and still looks new and clean and great shape. Love the details in the decor, It was a great canvas to work with. The view from the river was lovely and loved having the outdoor space to hang out in too, especially for those who smoked. The food was wonderful. Was a little worried about the steak, the first initial tasting was decent but thinking about serving steak for such a big crowd we were skeptical it would turn out but everyone's steak was edible and warm, just cooked perfectly, it is a steak house after all. We were glad we upgraded to the filet too. We were super happy with the appetizers and main course and everything was yummy. The servers were on it. Maybe too on it, I would set my drink down and it would disappear. But overall very pleased with our experience. Everyone we worked with was polite and nice from the servers to the managers in charge, we were treated with kindness and respect. I did fly out to come view it in person just to see how they would treat me and they passed the test.. Would have been nice to know about The booking situation with blocking off rooms that another wedding venue reserved rooms so then some of our party had to go to an air Bnb instead of everyone staying there, which was the whole point of doing it there so people didn't have to drive after the reception. Also wish we could have danced later than midnight but it was in our contract to end the night at midnight. Other than that very happy our experience. It was a beautiful wedding, it went by so fast but it was an unforgettable evening. Thanks for everything.
