We had a wonderful experience working with Brus and the full Spruce Mountain team. They think of everything when it comes to logistics, and we didn't have to worry about a thing from the moment we showed up on wedding day until the end of the night. Our experience touring the venue a year and a half ago, coming back for the Wine & Nosh event, and doing our 30 day walk through all made the planning process so smooth and exciting for us and our families. The multiple ceremony locations are all gorgeous, and we were thrilled to be able to get married mountainside with the natural beauty of Colorado in the background. Our guests loved cocktail hour and the indoor/outdoor dinner & dancing set up. Spruce is truly a 5 star wedding venue because of its natural beauty and the organization/care the team takes in scoping out all the details, like 2 beautiful getting ready suites for the bridesmaids & groomsmen, shuttles to take guests up mountainside, and open air string lights for late night dancing. Spruce is also a popular spot that many of our vendors were familiar with, which made logistics even smoother since our bartenders, caterer, DJ, planner, and florist had all done multiple weddings at Spruce before and had great recommendations on what could work well with our vision. We hope to come back for future events and are so happy to have gotten married at Spruce!

The vibes were great all around, and we were thrilled to have a dedicated getting ready suite onsite. Shalece is so very accommodating to vendors and guests, and you can tell they really enjoy helping their clients have an amazing wedding day!

THE GOOD STUFF The Grange fit our needs really well for a 50 person baby shower. With the setup we chose, the room felt full but not crowded and allowed for ample room for people to move around. The fireplace added a nice atmosphere without making the room hot. The bathrooms and space were clean when we arrived. The Grange offers several table options which made it super easy for us to setup a kids zone, silent trivia area, and guest tables. Given that tables and chairs are included in the rental fee, it is fairly priced. A FEW BUMMERS While we wanted to have the garage doors open for an open-air feeling, it seemed that even the smallest bit of wind would knock over all of our decorations. Because we couldn't have the garage doors open, we did confine everything to indoors which changed our plans a bit with outdoor yard games as it wasn't super intuitive to go outside to the covered patio. We also would have liked to have been asked about the signage The Grange put outside. We had a co-ed baby shower but when we pulled up, the sign only listed the mother-to-be's name. Not a huge deal, but definitely could have been avoided. IMPORTANT CONSIDERATIONS A few things to note that may be important to you: 1. All setup, teardown, and cleaning is YOUR responsibility. So, if you don't want to haul tables and chairs, take out the trash, and mop the floor, this venue is not for you. (Note: We were made well aware of this prior to booking so it isn't a surprise but definitely a big consideration as it cuts into your rental time.) 2. The microphone works well for the main room but is very difficult to hear in the "back area" where the restrooms and food counters are. 3. When working on your budget, be sure to factor in the cost of getting event insurance as this is required and is an additional cost. (Again, we were made aware of this in advance so it wasn't a surprise.) 4. No table coverings/linens/tablecloths are provided so be sure you factor this into planning and your budget.

Don and Toni are awesome people and hosts. They communicate extremely well and appreciate when you do the same. The space is absolutely incredible. Our family group of 20 didn’t leave the property once during our five day stay. The lodge is overly spacious with amazing views of Pikes Peak in the distance and the wedding space was perfect for our group (but could easily have accommodated larger groups). I would highly recommend TihsreeD for anyone looking for a remote mountain getaway, and we hope to be able to visit again soon!

Finding your perfect venue for your perfect day is no easy task, and I had the hardest time finding a venue that combined my husband's rustic taste with my own elegant style. That is, until we found Villa Parker! It had everything we wanted, it was the perfect size for our 70 guest wedding (but we had room for much more than that) and it came with all the beautiful additions and inclusions we wanted! Including the best day-of coordinator a girl can ask for. Communication and organization was a breeze and Villa Parker really takes the guesswork out of a lot of things involving wedding planning! Best of all? They are pet-friendly! So we were able to bring our sweet pup into the mix along with a local rescue to raise money for a non-profit organization! Two puppies were adopted at our wedding thanks to the wonderful people at Villa Parker. This is one gorgeous venue to remember.

I cannot recommend a venue more highly than Highlands Ranch Mansion. The whole entire grounds is absolutely stunning and from the moment your guests walk in they will be blown away. Throughout your event, your guests get to explore the whole mansion and learn about its rich history which makes it such a unique and fun touch. The venue also offers many ceremony and cocktail hour locations and each has a breathtaking view from the mountains to whimsical gardens. After that you have the great hall to invite guests in for dinner and dance the night away. Not only is the venue amazing itself but their whole entire team is such a pleasure to work with! They are so knowledgeable, friendly and absolutely go out of their way however possible to guarantee an amazing event! Again, I cannot recommend the mansion enough and it truly is one of the most jaw dropping venues in Colorado!

2 Penguins is not your typical wedding location. We are a Taproom and Restaurant providing quality food, service and beverages. We were in the traditional wedding business under the umbrella business, Panache Catering, Inc, for over 30 years and left it because we eventually were worn out by what it had become. In that time we catered thousands of weddings. The expectations among a some groups of wedding families simply became impossible to meet. If you, too, are becoming worn out by what you are finding in the wedding industry you likely have found a great alternative at 2 Penguins.

The staff, especially Dan, the events coordination, was incredibly friendly and willing to work with us for our wedding here. The price is also relatively cost effective, especially if you book on Sundays and get the entire venue!! I would highly recommend this venue if you like the overall vibe of the restaurant.

Just 3 miles north is the quaint town of Evergreen, with fine arts, crafts, gift shops, restaurants, bistros, and coffee shops. The Evergreen lake boasts of many activities from ice skating to kayaking to paddle boating. Hiking trails and open space parks abound. Come on up and see for yourself!

Overall, I would recommend Evergreen Red Barn to any couple looking to get married. They worked with us and worked with our timeline. They even let us set up our decorations the day before the wedding which was incredible and helpful! All of the other venues that we toured did not allow for that at all. They answered all of my crazy questions, as well as provided the tables & chairs set up, tablecloths (you have to rent them but they are through the venue & not a third party), as well as a ton of decorations that are already up! We only had to provide center pieces and flowers for the arbor. However, what we struggled with was they went through 3 different property managers during the 9 months between our initial appointment and the actual wedding date. So, as I am sure you can imagine, that led to quite a bit of confusion and changing of plans. Being told one thing just for the next person to tell us something different. Additionally, it wasn't always communicated to us that there was a change in managers. Last but not least, when we were setting up we had to remove decorations leftover from a previous wedding. It wasn't that big of a deal, but for the price of the venue it should have already been taken care of before we got there. Overall, our wedding day was the dream come true and everything that we could have hoped for!

Nestled in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains and overlooking the beautiful Evergreen Lake, this 5,000-square-foot lodge integrates the charm of an intimate celebration into a warm ballroom-like spaciousness. The Great Room, which seats up to 200 people, is fitted with a large stone fireplace and several floor-to-ceiling glass doors that provide easy access to the spectacular view beyond. The smaller Octagon Room has seven windowed sides– so no matter where you are inside, the scenic outdoors are never hidden from view! For outdoor ceremonies, the deck seats up to 100 people (with additional standing room). The deck features log railings and a flagstone step down to the grassy lawn. We host weddings year-round: enjoy the warmth of late-July sunsets, the abundance of golden aspens in September, or the fairytale snowfalls in January at Evergreen Lake.

Evergreen Lake House was a great wedding venue for our special day. The staff was prompt in their communication, making the planning process smooth and easy. The venue itself is gorgeous. One thing to note is that long veils can catch on the deck, so keep that in mind. Overall, the quality of Evergreen Lake House's work and the value they provide is good. I would recommend this venue to any couple looking for a beautiful, lakeside wedding location.

My husband and I have been visiting the Botanic Gardens for years and it was the only venue we wanted for our wedding day. The wedding day was everything we had hoped for and many of our guests commented afterward how beautiful it was. We also knew ahead of time that we wanted an intimate wedding and the Woodland Mosaic and Solarium as our location. The weather was fairly warm on our date but our guests didn't feel it because the venue has lots of shade with the solarium and trees. It also felt like a more secluded space, which is something that we wanted. Our wedding date was a very popular Saturday in June, and I believe 5 other weddings were taking place at the same time! Because our location felt so private, we hardly noticed. The only exception being the "golden hour" for photography, where we were taking photos in the Japanese garden and carefully maneuvering around other couples also taking photos. If you want to be the only bride in sight, keep this in mind. We didn't care though. Because we had such a small wedding (40 people), we chose not to have a wedding planner or day-of coordinator. I would recommend one for this venue if you have a larger group or if you don't have a lot of helping hands. We had a lot of help from our families on the day of the event - helping set up things like the gifts/card table and brining in liquor in coolers. We also carried out a lot of items ourselves at the end of the night. This isn't a complaint from our end, as we expected to do some of the coordination ourselves. Just keep in mind that if you don't want to have to do anything on your wedding day, be sure to hire someone for that role. Emily was great at coordinating from the Botanic Gardens side. She gave us helpful information when needed, responded quickly, and we also met her about a month in advance to walk through the site, going over details on things like chairs and tables. In addition, you get an hour walkthrough during the day before your event. On the day of, I booked a touch-up room (included in the price). They have a limited catering list and we were happy to use Serendipity Catering for our food, bartenders, service staff, desserts and floral, which made coordinating everything a lot easier! I highly recommend working with Brie and Raven. Another perk of booking this venue is that you can bring in your own alcohol, which can save money. Negatively, it was a bit of work for our families to haul all of this in and out while in formalwear. Depending on which space you book, you are also only able to have acoustic music. We wanted (and hired) a string quartet, so this worked for us. However, if you want to dance the night away with a DJ, you would need to book elsewhere for the reception or book their indoor ballroom. The best surprise for us was a free couples membership for a year to the Botanic Gardens. We are so excited to have the opportunity to spend more time here, enjoying their many event offerings throughout the year. We can't wait to return year after year!

Our experience working with the staff at the McNichols Building truly could not have been any better. From the time we took our first tour, to the end of our wedding day everything was wonderful. We were originally scheduled to get married there in June of 2020 and moved our wedding not once, but twice due to Covid. Both times we moved the wedding their staff was incredibly accommodating and rescheduled our date without any fees or difficulty. We finally had our wedding there in Oct. 2021. Their original events coordinator we worked with, Julie, who we adored, took a different position during the pandemic and the transition between her and the gentleman who took of her duties was seamless. John was also so easy and pleasant to work with. The rest of the staff was just as incredible and accommodating on our wedding day. We rented the third floor and it was perfect for our 150 person wedding. We loved the modern style of the room and the local, modern art on display added unique decor and personality to the space. We used Civic Center Park and some surrounding areas for wedding photos and they turned out beautiful. This venue is truly a gem of Denver and I would recommend using it for any event - personal, business, or otherwise. You will not find a better event staff to work with!

The Denver Athletic Club is a private membership owned club that was established in Denver in 1884. The DAC moved to it’s current location in 1892 and has expanded in the years since to now occupy the entire city block. Second only to it’s namesake amenity (our athletic facilities), the event spaces we have on premises are classic, elegant and charming to any event attendees we host! We do all catering in house and have an amazing Executive Chef that delivers incredible plated dinners and buffets! Our venue rental includes tables, chairs, chinaware, glassware, and access to setup décor, all day. Our Grand Ballroom is breathtaking with elevated ceilings, classic romantic colors, and an elegant tear drop chandelier! Our Rooftop Sundeck, open seasonally, has a permanent awning structure that shades half of the space as well as a stunning view of the Denver city skyline.

The Denver Athletic Club was an amazing venue for our wedding day. From the first time we contacted them, their communication was prompt, friendly, and incredibly helpful in strategizing the best plan for our event. The venue itself had tons of beautiful, flexible spaces that allowed us plenty of space to get ready, spread out and customize the look and feel exactly how we envisioned. When the forecast called for rain on our wedding day, the staff at the Denver Athletic Club worked seamlessly with us to implement our backup plan, and they were instrumental in ensuring all of the little details were perfectly in place. We are so grateful to the team at the DAC for helping make our special day an unforgettable celebration.

University Club was the perfect venue for our smaller winter wedding. The only issues we ran into was with the venue's event planner not following through on layout and set up items that were communicated and confirmed, then ultimately not executed. Our coordinator met with the venue event specialists and got all the request about layout confirmed and in email, then day-of got told that they would arrange things they way they have "always done". Otherwise the in-house catering provided an excellent meal and bar service.
