St. Paul’s Church sits on a sloping grass bluff overlooking the waters of Port Gamble Bay. The church, built in 1879, is modeled after a church in the Maine hometown of Port Gamble’s founders. One of the most photographed buildings in the area, the picturesque church steeple houses the original church bell, and wedding couples thrill to the sound of the church bell ringing as they are pronounced married. Hood Canal Vista Pavilion offers breath-taking panoramic views and stunning sunsets over the Hood Canal while surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens. In the Pavilion, a floor to ceiling stone fireplace sits opposite abundant windows overlooking lush seasonal gardens . Six sets of French doors lead to a slated patio and an expansive grassy bluff right on the shores of the Hood Canal. In the spring and summer months, an adjacent tented terrace offers an additional location for a reception, dance floor and/or cocktail hour.

We had about 100 people and everyone was able to sit and watch and enjoy our pre-wedding event. We had so much fun and the venue is beautiful.

So happy with Historic 1625! We booked this venue about a year out and Lindsey, the wedding coordinator was so helpful and thorough with all of our needs. No matter how big or how small the request was, Lindsey was very accommodating. With the right decor, Historic was the perfect mix of rustic and elegant. The car room add on option was an amazing touch for cocktail hour. 10/10 would recommend, thank you to the Historic 1625 team for making our wedding day extra special and unforgettable!

The Georgetown Ballroom was the perfect venue for our wedding. Danielle was extremely efficient, kind, and helpful throughout the entire planning process, making the experience stress-free. She was incredibly organized and communicative, ensuring every detail was taken care of. The quality of their work and value truly felt like perfection - Danielle was flexible in accommodating our requests and the spaces were stunning and high-quality. On our big day, Danielle made everything run seamlessly. She made us feel completely at home and ensured the event reflected our vision. The catering was exceptional and every aspect of the venue was ideal for hosting our ceremony and reception. I cannot recommend the Georgetown Ballroom highly enough - Danielle made our wedding planning and event an absolute dream come true!

WithinSodo was a fabulous choice for our wedding day! They provided such a great space and clear, direct communication in regards to what to expect and what we were getting. We got married in April which I believe was perfect timing weather-wise. Inside was warm but not hot and guests loved having the rooftop for cocktail hour and taking breaks throughout the night. The multiple rooms were fantastic as it allowed us to have karaoke, dancing and photobooth without sacrificing space for ppl to mingle and move about. The bar service they provided was top-notch and totally flexible. They work really hard to honor your budget and needs. Would def recommend WithinSodo for a wedding or any party that would benefit from a multi-functional space.

We were married at MUCC in August of last year and it was perfect! The church space itself is lovely and looks wonderful in our photos. The sanctuary is especially beautiful with lovely stained glass windows. They also had plenty of space in another area of the church so that we could host our reception there as well. This was really helpful since we had many out of town guests who are unfamiliar with driving in the Seattle area. Beyond that, pastor Marci was really wonderful and met with us before the ceremony to talk about what we wanted. We felt really fortunate to find her, but I believe you can also have your own officiant which is not something many churches allow you to do. We also used their pianist for the ceremony music and he did a fantastic job. Overall everything was very easy and convenient, allowing us to just focus on the day. They are also a wonderful church that contributes to the community, definitely appreciate these folks!
