Poppy Flowers was a great choice for our small wedding. Their twilight template was exactly the color palette I was looking for and they had options for everything I needed at an affordable price (in comparison to other Washington DC florists). I was very happy with the quality of the flowers and the set-up process.

JNG Event Consulting

5.0

  • Serves North Quincy, MA

JNG Event Consulting is a floral and event design firm that services a select number of weddings, and events each year. We are as selective with our clients as they are with their vendors. Nearly all of our clients work with a full-service event planner, are referred to us by a venue coordinator, to a client who has worked with us. Often times we are asked by prospective clients if they need to be working with an event planner, or a venue coordinator, in order to engage our design services, and the answer is, “Yes.” We find that the process of designing an event is much more seamless when an event planner, or coordinator, is present.

I love working with Jimmy Guzman from JNG Consulting! We have worked closely on several beautiful events. Jimmy listens to what the client and I envision. He works collaboratively with us on a design that reflects the client's taste and style. He is open to design ideas that come from our team but has so many wonderfully creative visions that he brings to the table to guide the process. He presents his design elements in a cohesive and professional manner. When the day of the event arrives his execution is magical! The JNG team delivers a beautifully designed and well executed product. I can't wait until my next project with JNG Consulting!

Little Blooms

5.0

  • Starts at $4,000
  • Serves North Quincy, MA

I started my business in 2018, after I finished floral design classes from Cass School of Floral in Watertown, MA. I have had hands on experience from Floral Arts in Westford, MA and have completed over 75 weddings in my time as a floral designer. I have a little intern named Larry, a corgi-pit mix, who is the model for Little Blooms, who you will see a lot of on Instagram. I love using locally grown flowers as much as I can in my work, to really showcase 'farm to florist'.

Awarded Best of Zola
Working with Little Blooms for our wedding florals was such a joy. I wish we could do it all over again tomorrow! Danielle was so easy to chat with along our planning journey and took the time to create the perfect floral game plan for our special day. She was patient and flexible as our plans evolved, took our floral inspiration and put an even more gorgeous spin on it, and brought so much life and magic to our wedding space. It truly felt like we were planning with our best friend who was honest about what would work/what wouldn't look so great while helping us stay within budget and maximize the look and feel of our florals. We couldn't have imagined a more beautiful day if we tried! We're so grateful for Danielle's incredible work and highly recommend Little Blooms to any couple looking for a top-notch florist experience.

You: You aren’t interested in traditional, round, monochrome designs and want wedding flowers that are as unique as you are. Althea Floral Design is led by Julian Kane, a passionate designer who loves to create unique and vibrant arrangements that reflect your individual style and personality. With a focus on bold and bright colors, we aim to bring your wedding to life with unforgettable floral designs that leave a lasting impression.

Awarded Best of Zola
Julian FAR exceeded our expectations. From the very beginning, they hit the proposal out of the park, perfectly nailing our vision for the big day in a clean and clear format. Julian was super responsive to our emails, which was reassuring living on the west coast and traveling to RI for the wedding. The price was super reasonable, and Julian lined up a rental for the floral stands we needed for the ceremony, which was so helpful not being local. And on the big day. Holy smokes, my bridal bouquet was everything I dreamed of and more!! Our wedding day was super hot, and Julian did everything in their power to keep the flowers looking fresh, even tweaking the bouquet and boutonnière as the day went on to remove some of the pieces that wilted. The ceremony flowers ended up a little wilted, but that was out of Julian’s control. If you’re looking for a florist, look no further. Julian was made for this job!

Working with Avenue Design Studio was such a pleasure! While florals were important to me, I didn’t feel the need to be heavily involved, and their team made the process so easy. They truly listened to my vision, allowed for updates as my plans evolved, and then took care of everything from there. They were incredibly helpful in working within my budget, creatively repurposing ceremony florals for the reception tables, which made the whole evening feel cohesive and elegant. I appreciated their attention to detail, like including flowers I love (amaranthus) and avoiding ones I don’t (baby’s breath). Their ability to travel and stay all day to assist with setup was such a bonus. Highly recommend Avenue Design Studio!

Dazy Florals

5.0

  • Starts at $4,000
  • Serves North Quincy, MA

Garden inspired and organically styled floral arrangements for weddings and events- located north of Boston and servicing the New England area. Owner and artist Ashley has 11 years of design experience in the floral industry, along with a background in horticulture, and general love for all things natural and wild. Dazy Florals is dedicated to utilizing sustainable practices and beautiful locally grown blooms, New England season permitting.

Awarded Best of Zola
You don’t come across someone with this much dedication, passion, craftsmanship, knowledge, and genuine love for their art often. Ashley is truly gifted in all things florals, and every piece she made for me, including my trials, had my jaw drop and moved my family to tears. She puts her heart into every flower she tends to, and you can see it in the intricacies of her work. She’s an artist, and these are her little masterpieces. I’ve grown to respect florals on a new level thanks to her. She knows so much about each flower (even their science names!), how to pair textures, coordinate colors, balance shapes and sizes—she’s making a work of art. So in terms of honoring your vision and creating something magical, trust Ashley with your whole heart. Now comes to the administrative work. Just when I thought I couldn’t love Ashley more, she created slide deck presentations (oh yes, you read that right) on what I was looking for/my inspo, provided updated proposals every time I added something new to my ask, triple-checked any time I made a change, and was extremely communicative, professional, and responsive. My fastest vendor when it came to email. And I’ll admit, I wasn’t an easy client. I went from having no wedding party to having 5 bridesmaids and 5 groomsmen. I went from no ceremony florals to decorating the whole aisle. (I couldn’t help myself since Ashley has such reasonable prices I could actually afford my dream florals, but also once again, my trials were so beautiful, I couldn’t resist). I changed colors, visions, ideas, and emailed her more times than I can count over the course of many months, and Ashley followed it to a T and kept track of it all. Ashley showed up to a walkthrough at my venue that was super far just to get to know the space and guide where florals would work best, taking notes, asking questions, and going above and beyond. She didn't need to do that for us. She did anyway. She kept up with all my asks and updates flawlessly. And on the day, she nailed every single item from boutonniere to bud vase. Side notes: I had a rosary blessed by the Pope for my wedding, and Ashley handled it with such respect, integrity, and reverence. That says a lot about a person. My mom, who has worked in florals and crafts for a long time, was speechless when she saw the work Ashley created. When she looked at the internal workings and weaving, she noted just how much time she must have spent handcrafting my floral crown. When I was walking out with my trial bouquet, I literally had a stranger stop me in my tracks to ask where on Earth I got such beautiful florals and if he can get some himself. Every time we met, Ashley would bring a little bouquet for me, which was such a cute gesture. I secretly dried all of them to keep. And finally, Ashley herself. She is caring, tender, sweet, creative, and extremely hardworking. We believe she is blessed by God Himself lol. (But actually, though. She has a gift.) Her talent is unbelievable. I had a special request for a floral crown, and it was THE talk of the night. People would come over and poke it because they couldn’t believe it was real. Ultimately, if there were more vendors like Ashley, there would be much happier, less stressed brides in the world. And if there were more people like Ashley in general, the world would be a better place. I will miss her. Enjoy her and her florals for me. Let them take your breath away, they will.
