With a focus on bold and bright colors, we aim to bring your wedding to life with unforgettable floral designs that leave a lasting impression.
At the heart of our business is a commitment to sustainability and inclusivity. We believe in the importance of taking care of our planet. Our dedication to sustainability is reflected in our choice of being a 100% foam-free florist, as well as our efforts to compost all organic scraps, minimize waste, and use local blooms when possible. We are also committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels comfortable expressing their unique vision for their wedding, regardless of race, gender, or sexual orientation. Everything we wanted and more!
Jules was a true creative partner to us in realizing our vision for our wedding day! He was so easy to work with from start to finish. It was clear that he really listened to us while being sensitive to our budget because I cried when I opened the initial floral proposal he sent over prior to our first call. We ended up doing a floral trial, which we highly recommend to get a feel for the colors and textures of the florals in real life. It's also a fun way to build up excitement for the big day. Jules was very responsive and flexible throughout the planning process. He helped us think creatively about how we could get the biggest visual bang for our buck, and made adjustments to our order as plans evolved. When my husband decided he wanted to handmake all of the vessels of the centerpieces instead of using the ones in Jules' inventory, Jules cheered him on in his endeavor. We felt like Jules was truly on our team -- so professional, reliable and supportive. A few weeks before the wedding, I sent Jules a picture of gorgeous (and apparently rare) peony that I had received from my husband-to-be. The day of our wedding, when Jules came to the bridal suite to deliver the ladies' bouquets, he surprised me with that that same type of peony in my bouquet, and later as part of the sweetheart table florals. Again, Jules showed how much he listens to and cares about his clients. The flowers at our wedding were so fresh and vibrant. They felt perfectly "us". It was everything we wanted and more. Thank you, Jules, for making our dreams come true!

Finding a florist was unexpectedly one of the toughest parts of planning our wedding. We met with several vendors who, despite our best efforts to explain our vision, proposed designs that felt generic and out of touch with what we wanted. Then we met Julian. With nothing more than a list of Hex codes and a Pinterest board, he came back the next day with a concept that was beyond anything we could have imagined. As our plans evolved, Julian was flexible, always ensuring that the floral designs would have the biggest impact while staying true to our vision. On the wedding day, Julian’s excitement was palpable, and it was clear that he was fully invested in making our day perfect. We know he also became a trusted confidant and friend to our wedding planner, Allie from CityLux, which meant the world to us. Thank you, Julian, for bringing our dream to life with such stunning, thoughtful florals!
Amazing all around!!!
Working with Julian was a literal dream! When I first started working with Julian I didn't have a clear vision, I had vibes (lush, moody, romantic) and he walked me through the design process and every possible option to make that vibe a vision. Their proposal was comprehensive and included bespoke touches, like a section for "floral ingredients", so I knew exactly what to expect for price, style, and design. While all of our florals turned out so stunning and better than anything I could have imagined the one that always stands out in my mind is the wearable floral lapel that Julian created for my partner. It was such a unique twist for a suit wearer and added the perfect dramatic touch!
Stunning Work, Amazing Person!
Althea Floral Design did our personal wedding flowers and our ceremony flowers. We loved that Althea was queer friendly and had a focus on sustainability and Julian was wonderful to work with and made planning and communicating easy and stress free. The flowers they put together for the gazebo we got married at were stunning and they created beautiful floral lapels for my husband and I (they also smelled amazing and we could smell them the whole time we wore them!). I've also gotten florals for mother's day from Julian that were equally as gorgeous. We absolutely recommend them and I hope we get further excuses to get florals from them again in the future!
