We began our journey in 2015 with a dusty gravel pit and vision for a new home. The gem was the stunning 30 acre crystal clear lake. After purchasing the property we found ourselves hosting church activities and work functions as people truly loved being here. Slowly we began adding amenities to the property. First a huge rope swing, (that we have since taken down). It was fun watching the kids fly into the water. Then the 110’ water slide kept all the kids smiling as they splashed into the lake. Then in 2020 our daughter was engaged to a great guy. As she began looking for that special place to host her wedding we came to realize that it was right here. We wanted it to be a very special place and we went to work.

Welcome to Toledo's most unique venues for your special event. We offer two different vessels to accommodate your style and number of guest. The Glass City Pearl is the larger of our two vessels. Welcome your guests aboard our passenger vessel with a "yacht" feel. Guest are always in awe of its elegance and beauty. Travel back in time on The Sandpiper. The Sandpiper was designed to resemble an Erie Canal Boat. The Sandpiper is the most budget friendly of our two vessels. Guests love utilizing this vessel to be on one level with their friends and family.

Enjoy the entire Waterview Loft, starting with your breathtaking ceremony in our window-lined Conservatory. With the ceremony in the Conservatory and your reception upstairs in the Loft, you and your guests will ring in the celebrations as soon as you say “I do,” without having to wait for a space to be transformed. Our Loft is the perfect setting for an iconic and unforgettable Detroit wedding reception that family and friends will talk about for years.

About Roostertail Established in 1958, Roostertail is a well-known wedding venue in Detroit, Michigan. Bordering the Detroit River marina, its various banquet halls boast a tasteful blend of modern and industrial styles. Panoramic glass walls adorn every floor of the building, with private entrances leading to patios and balconies. Here you can celebrate your nuptials in the same venue that hosted special guests like Aretha Franklin, Eric Clapton, and The Rolling Stones. We do Farm I do's!! We love making your day special!! We are a family owned century farm and offer a vintage/ rustic/ romantic barn/farm setting for an outdoor wedding ceremony & reception up to 300 guests. We can set up a wedding ceremony at multiple locations on the property with plenty of parking. Tented receptions up to 300 guests are permitted on the property. We also have a historic century barn that is renovated and holds up to 200 guests with additional patio seating. We are located about 10 miles west of Toledo Ohio. Our specialty is our rehearsal/ wedding ceremony value package. Stay in the 5 bedroom farmhouse cottage on the property and have the rehearsal and dinner on the property or in the workshop party room and then have the ceremony the next day. Brides love staying at the farmhouse with their bridesmaids to prepare together for the wedding day. We are located on 10.5 acres with woods, barns, a pond, and rustic accents so there are many great photo opportunities!

Detroit Sails offers a relaxing and fun experience on the Detroit River and Lake St. Clair. We provide private two hour sailing tours, engagement photo sessions, and other customized tours on the water. We offer a great way for friends, family, and co-workers to unwind and make memories together. Adventure awaits!

Lake Lucy Event Venue offers 140 acres of land with an 80 acre private lake encompassed on the property. There are many well maintained walking trails, plenty of open space and beautiful scenery. There is an option to bring the bridal party on a hay wagon, which makes for some pretty cool pictures. Both the bridal party and the grooms party can opt to get ready in a beautiful log home; usually the bridal party gets ready in the fully finished walkout basement, and the grooms party on main floor. We are located within 5 miles of Wixom, which offers many hotel options. There is currently no structures in the wedding venue area, but have started construction on a pavilion for the 2024 season.
