The wedding was great and as a wedding planner, I enjoyed working with this team. From the start, they care for the client with respect and class. Especially loved working with Scott. He has the best personality and is so fun! We did have a staff change which somewhat caused a communication issue, but they quickly bounced back and made sure everything was correct and updated. As a wedding planner, I would certainly do another wedding here! The staff, food and facility are top notch!

Other than the steak being overcooked & the salad being incorrect, our wedding at the Marriott was wonderful.

And the open floor plan really helps with making the space your own for a little bit. It was really easy to map out everything you needed for the day. The BEST part was this venue has indoor/outdoor space. Perfect for those who want to stay warm, while also perfect for those who needed to get some fresh air. This is a major selling point if you plan on getting married in SD since this venue is close to the water. Personable hosts, very professional. They offered glasses of wine to us every time we did a site visit. Extremely communicative and flexible to work with your schedule if need be. Marlene was our wedding coordinator and she really did everything she could to make our day so special. She knows what it's like when they say, "Treat your guests like family"... She made you feel right at home! She will do everything within her power to make you feel at ease. There was not one time I felt concerned. Our bartender, Bryan, was the SWEETEST! He would make your drink and just talk with you like he knew you already. Our guests absolutely loved him. Even if you're not planning a wedding, I would recommend this spot to friends and family for other types of events, for sure. Such a classy establishment with the FRIENDLIEST people.

I cannot stop raving about this venue and the whole event planning team. We had such an amazing experience having out wedding at the Horton Grand Hotel, it makes me want to do it all over again. The venue itself is beautiful and provides a perfect romantic setting for an outdoor wedding. Planning a wedding this year during COVID was nothing short of difficult but Jennifer and the whole event planning staff were so helpful and understanding throughout the whole planning process and really made planning this wedding and keeping our original date so easy. Jennifer constantly kept us updated on the current status of the hotel and was amazing at relaying information related to closures and events to us. She was knowledgeable about the restrictions and helped us plan for a day that was not only perfect in every way but also provided safety to our guests. It was a pleasure having our wedding at such a beautiful location and we were so pleased with how it all turned out and the responsiveness of the staff. There were a number of last minute challenges that made our planning stressful, it was worth every stress and the staff at the Horton Grand Hotel helped us through every set back allowing us to fully enjoy our day. We had our wedding anniversary at the Prado and it was the dream celebration I wished I'd had for our wedding! FIrst off, the options we were offered for food choices was over the top. Everyone was so accomodating helping us with things. The day of, I felt like a Queen! I never lifted a finger- the staff always made sure I had a drink in my hand, and each time I got up from my chair, I came back to a seat with fresh a fresh napkin. The wait staff is so professional- they are there but not in your face. Everything we needed or wanted was handled for us. We have an event company, so have many contacts in the industry, and we chose to have our big party at the Prado because we knew we would be taken care of. We were not let down!

I can’t even begin to tell you how amazing my experience with Verbena was. I am a wedding photographer by trade, so I have not only been to hundreds of weddings, I’ve worked them. When it came time to plan my own wedding, I knew I wanted something intimate and unique, and WOW did Verbena deliver. Not only is it the CUTEST on the inside (great for photos) but the food is life changing. It’s not just “good for a wedding” food, it’s incredible period. We had custom cocktails created by their in house mixologist, and Ronnie the head chef came up with a custom seasonal menu just for us. One of my guests described her meal as “magical”, and many more said it was the best food they’ve EVER eaten at a wedding. Bella Luna was a fantastic venue to host our pre-wedding party! John and I were married in Tuscany and many of our friends were unable to travel and attend our ceremony. We hosted a pre-wedding party on Bella Luna and invited all those who couldn't attend the wedding. All of our guests had an amazing time and are still talking about it. This venue was so great to work with! Everyone was responsive, friendly, and so helpful. The space is so spacious and easily sit all my 270 guests, 12 person band, dj, and 360 Photo Booth without looking cramped and still had plenty of dance floor space! Would 100% percent recommend! There was plenty of parking which was a big plus with a nice view of downtown.

The Handlery hotel is without a doubt the way to go, they make all the arrangements, they very much arrange and include everything on the wedding package, still they will let you chose your own cake. Easy, included and ample parking is a plus. They are coveniently located, you out of town guests can even stay there. The hotel is beautiful and the service is excellent, dinner will impress your guests.

Lot 8 was the perfect venue for our wedding! From the moment we started working with Kim and the team, their communication was attentive and they were incredibly helpful in guiding us through the planning process. On the day of, we did not have to worry about a single thing - the staff took care of everything seamlessly. The venue itself was the best value, with ample space for our 160 guests. The food from Eco Catering was delicious, and our photography team of Kristin and Mike captured all the special moments beautifully. DJ Harmz kept the dance floor packed all night long, and we and our guests had the greatest time celebrating our special day at Lot 8. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding venue!
