The Barns at Edgemont Inn was the perfect rustic and cozy setting for our wedding. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly accommodating and thoughtful, going above and beyond to ensure our special day ran smoothly. One of the bartenders even stepped up as an informal day-of coordinator, staying by our side throughout the event to handle any last-minute needs. The inclusive atmosphere allowed all of our guests to feel welcomed and comfortable. During the planning process they provided multiple options for table arrangements, arbor options and arbor placements, as well as options for dinnerware, glassware and silverware! Our group of country boys were pleased with their yard games and were playing corn hole all day! 20/10 recommend getting married on the Mountain Top! The venue in and of itself is a DREAM. The staff and servers went above and beyond. Shout out to the events coordinator manager, Danny, who quite literally was always smiling and checking in on us our entire wedding weekend. My husband and I live out in Seattle, but we’re both from Massachusetts. We wanted somewhere in New England that has that rugged mountain landscape, but also somewhere everyone could join us for the whole weekend. I’m so obsessed with it here, can’t WAIT to come back! We used Meadows Edge Florals for our flowers/decorations, and I have nothing but AMAZING things to say about Gayle and her team. We used Juniper Studios for photography and Angela and Idena’s talents are something I can’t even put into words. Best decisions I’ve ever made.

They were always willing to show us around the property when we stopped by for a visit, which helped us feel comfortable and confident in our decision to host our wedding there. The venue itself was simply stunning - Lincoln Hall is a wonderful addition that provided an unforgettable backdrop for our special day, even when we had to move the ceremony indoors due to rain. Carmine was our rock through the planning process, and his professionalism allowed us to forgo a planner or coordinator, as we knew he had everything covered. We feel so lucky to have found the West Mountain Inn for our wedding. We first visited about a year before our wedding and immediately felt like it would be the perfect place for our special day. We were greeted by the resident golden retrievers, who followed us on our tour. If you’re a dog lover, you’ll be very happy with this venue! But really, it was Amie, Mary Beth and the rest of the staff who sold us. We immediately felt like they cared about making your day as perfect as possible for us, which was very welcome after touring other venues which felt like they wanted to squeeze every penny from us. After we decided on the venue, Amie was so willing to work with people like us who wanted to plan every detail possible. Amie answered all of my questions and sent additional information like floor plans so I could plan who was assigned to each room as soon as possible. Her communication over email was so incredible helpful! We absolutely loved that we could have so many guests staying at the inn and knew that would be perfect for our winter wedding. Next came our tasting, which was such a fun event. There are two tastings a year, both in March (though I think you could have a private tasting if you need). We loved being able to stay at the inn for a night and meet all of the other couples getting married here within the year. As our wedding was in February, we had to wait a long time between the tasting and trying the food again, and it absolutely didn’t disappoint! Chef Jeff did an amazing job with our welcome party, breakfast and lunch the day of the wedding, the absolutely amazing wedding dinner (and late night snacks), and brunch the next morning! We heard that most couples have a hard time eating during their weddings, but we cleaned our plates! Definitely try the butternut squash ravioli, it is incredible! We had our ceremony in the barn, then moved to the bar in the inn for cocktail hour, then dinner in the dining room, and dancing in the living room. They take out the big pieces of living room furniture and move some chairs to the side for dancing. A lot of my family was skeptical about that, but the inn knows what they’re doing!! The dance floor was plenty big for our party of 60 (and I’m sure it could have accommodate larger groups), and the chairs on the sides were a huge hit! It was incredible to be able to sit down for a minute and still feel like you’re a part of the party. I know a lot of our guests enjoyed that as well. We got ready in the Norman Rockwell suite, which worked out well since we had a small bridal party. We also loved getting to see all the rooms in the inn - every room is thought out so well and has little details that are so fun to find! We thought the inn was what made our wedding weekend so magical and cannot wait to visit again on anniversaries or other special occasions. Thank you so much to the entire team - we are so grateful to you!

I don't think there's a word in the English language that can express how perfect our wedding day was. Let me start from the very beginning: After many days of visiting venues, and sorting through reviews, we found our favorite, Hiland Park. Dan who runs the wedding services met us, showed us around, and introduced us to the Hiland Park brand and it was everything we wanted and more. As soon as you drove your car onto the grounds, you knew it was a top-notch place. The landscaping was beautiful and well maintained. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. The renovations (aka the entire place) were modern with an elegant flair, yet little touches of history were scattered throughout the property, especially in the bar and cocktail hour area. We wanted a wedding with great food (not mediocre by any means) and Hiland blew us away with the selection. We picked a plethora of foods for the cocktail hour and curated our dinner menu with ease. Hiland Park ensured our guests would be well *hydrated* by only offering a top-shelf bar (liquor, wine, and beer) for the entire reception and cocktail hour. You aren't suffering from lower-tiered alcohol packages, there is one and only one. Easy choice! Our attendees (and my wife and I) are still raving about the food. The staff, as they deserve their own paragraph. Holy Toledo, we were blown away by the attentiveness of the staff. Every detail of the day was spot on and their attentiveness to ensure it was perfect and never faltered. Everyone had a smile on their face. Dan really takes care of his employees, and they really take care of the business. We haven't seen this type of service in all of our life. They were a major reason our day was so successful. The kitchen staff and chefs blew our already high expectations out of the water with some of the best food that ever grazed our palates. The bartenders were speedy, and aces at what they did. The servers and bride/groom attendants were some of the kindest people in the world, and they took their jobs very seriously. With a wedding of 180 guests, they served everyone a piping hot dinner in 10 minutes...unheard of. Our photos came out perfectly. The scenery was stunning! We wanted an indoor/outdoor vibe, and Hiland had this wonderful patio with heaters, a fire pit, a gazebo, etc. so our guests could choose to be indoors or out. At the base of the Adirondack mountains, the views were a perfect backdrop to our pictures. If you're still deciding on a venue, look no further. We wish we could relive this day over and over again. Dear Hiland, thank you for making our wedding day the best ever. We won't ever forget it!!

Went to a wedding here and it was absolutely gorgeous. The food was fantastic and the camp itself was so beautiful, ranging from the green fields to the incredible waterfront. The hosts set up a large tent and dance floor on the soccer field protecting us from the intermittent showers that day. The tent was lined with string lights and looked almost magical when the sun began to set. On Sunday morning we walked down to see the lake surrounded by mountains of trees. Loved this place!

Our wedding weekend at FLC: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SZQxgrn833c | Getting married at Forest Lake Camp was the best decision we've ever made! We wanted to get married in the mountains, but still have a full wedding reception with our friends and family and a rocking band (The New York Players). FLC gave us the ability to have it all -- and over an entire weekend! We kicked off our wedding weekend with a relay race down at the lake (highly recommend this as an ice breaker! Our guests were all friendly by the time we made it to the Friday BBQ.) Chapel View was absolutely stunning for our ceremony site and the dining hall looked beautiful for dinner. We rented a tent for the band and dance floor on the patio and had the time of our lives dancing and celebrating all night. The afterparty location at the dance pavilion was perfect as well. We brought in a wood fired pizza truck (Orapello's) that kept everyone fed and happy until the late, late hours of the night. It's the absolute perfect spot for an outdoorsy couple with friends and family that are ready to embrace the adventure of a rustic setting and nontraditional venue. We loved it all. Also, Carlos is a superhero -- I don't think that man slept a wink our entire weekend. We are so grateful for the whole staff & can't wait to return for alumni weekend for years to come!

Oh, where does one start when recommending them?! As a photographer, staff communication is so important when it comes to timelines, locations on the property, etc.. Everyone I came in contact was so helpful, kind, and genuinely happy to be there. I was informed on the timeline multiple times throughout the day, and could always find someone when a question arose. Something huge that seems small was dinner. Myself along with the other vendors were fed promptly (the best meal I’ve ever had at a wedding too), with a space to set our belongings, which allowed us to get right back to work and not miss a thing! It’s so important that vendors are fed quickly so we aren’t scrambling to get back out there. As a natural light photographer, the Inn was a dream. Beautiful fencing, giant trees for shade, two buildings to work with, there was no shortage of “locations” when it came to the portraits. Between, the staff, location, and professionalism I easily give them a 10/10, and hope to be back for future weddings!

Today is our three month wedding anniversary and we are still talking about how perfect our wedding was, with a huge part of that due to The Hermitage Inn. The team at The Hermitage made the entire process easy, calming and fun and made the weekend lovely, memorable and perfect. Gina was with us from moment one and was a constant professional who was warm, non-judgemental and available whenever needed. She made sure the day of went on without a hitch and took care of all the big and small details, making sure we didn’t need to worry about anything. I was very specific about wanting to start hair and make up later in the day and Gina adjusted the schedule and made sure I had my morning to myself. During the weekend Mercer, Jan, Sarah, Katia and so many others, along with Gina, made it the best weekend with all of our guests saying the same thing. From the rehearsal dinner, breakfasts in the morning, bar service and, of course, the big event, it was all excellent, personal and thoughtful. Location and venue wise The Hermitage was again, perfect. The property and inn are beautiful, luxurious and luscious. It was incredible to have the entire inn to ourselves with our closest family and friends. The carriage house was a perfect home base to not only get ready in but to have drinks at and to have a little welcome event for just those staying at the inn on Thursday night. I have pictures of my parents and aunts and uncles sitting on the porch telling stories which I will cherish forever. The grounds were beautiful for the wedding and even though the rehearsal dinner, ceremony, cocktail hour and reception were at the same venue- each part of the weekend felt unique and intentional as the venue offers so many options. Its been fun to look at the other weddings that have happened since ours on Instagram because not one of them have looked similar. That must be the magic of The Hermitage Inn and Gina, as they truly allow you to bring your own wedding to life. Can’t wait to come back for a weekend and reminisce. My aunts and parents also fell in love with the venue and are planning a trip up the winter.
