We take pride in delivering restaurant quality cuisine for our catered events, no matter how intimate or grand. Elevated bar offerings compliment farm-to-fork cuisine, incorporating classic cocktails, artisanal spirits and a wide selection of Vermont craft beers. Our 2024 wedding package starts at $145 per person and we can tailor our wedding package based on your budget and vision for your wedding.

The Spaces
The Taconic is a picturesque wedding and reception venue nestled in the Green Mountains of charming Manchester, Vermont.
With three main event spaces, the Taconic can comfortably accommodate up to 200 guests. The 2,800-square-foot Trillium Ballroom seats up to 175 guests. For more intimate gatherings, the ballroom can be separated into three sections, and each section seats up to 60 guests. The hotel’s outdoor space, The Green, features a lawn with accompanying string lighting, a terrace, and space for 300 friends and family.

The Taconic Hotel is a full-service luxury boutique hotel and offers all-inclusive wedding packages. All banquet, catering, and bar services are performed onsite. Chairs, tables, and a dance floor are provided, along with barware, flatware, glassware, china, and linens. Bar service features classic cocktails, Vermont craft beers, and artisanal liquors. The pet-friendly Taconic offers wireless internet throughout. Onsite self and valet parking are available, and the event spaces are wheelchair accessible. Since the property books only one wedding per day, you’ll enjoy the staff’s full attention on your special day.

Kimpton Taconic Wedding
My wife and I recently had the pleasure of getting married at the Kimpton Taconic Hotel in Manchester, VT, in late August last year, and we would highly recommend the venue to others! The hotel itself is beautiful and well-maintained. We've stayed at the Kimpton a few times now, and the staff is always extremely friendly (plus, it's pet-friendly!). Though it's a larger hotel, they do an incredible job giving it a sort of boutique feel, which we loved. Also, I couldn't recommend late August in Vermont enough—you run the risk of rain, but the days and nights start to cool, and the weather was perfect for us. We toured a lot of venues in Vermont, but one thing that didn’t sit well with us was how some hotels hosted multiple weddings per weekend—even multiple per day. A big reason we chose the Kimpton Taconic was that they only host one wedding per weekend, so it never gave the “wedding factory” vibe that some other locations give. For our guest count of 130, it was the perfect size and setup. Having everything in one location—the rehearsal, welcome drinks, ceremony, and reception—was incredibly convenient, especially for the older guests and children at our wedding. Also, with several other hotels within walking distance and lots of Airbnbs nearby, our guests had lots of options for places to stay and transportation was never a concern, which was important to us. Our wedding coordinator, Natalie, was incredibly supportive and accommodating throughout the planning process. Understanding the significant financial commitment involved, Natalie really helped us get comfortable with a lot of the details and the financial aspects and ensure everything went smoothly. As with many wedding venues, some pricing aspects felt steep, but much of that was beyond Natalie’s control. She was always flexible and helped us navigate those challenges, making the experience much more manageable. We were able to pick and choose what we wanted to spend on vs save on because Natalie was so transparent. Overall, the Kimpton Taconic Hotel provided us with a beautiful setting and exceptional service for our wedding day. Would highly recommend it to anyone considering it for their wedding.
Gorgeous Venue
The Kimpton Taconic Hotel was an absolute dream venue for our wedding! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly communicative, professional, and attentive to our needs. Natalie, the event coordinator, checked in with us personally when we got there and ensured that everything was taken care of, including arranging for my dress to be steamed the day before the wedding. The hotel itself is absolutely gorgeous, with a cozy and quintessential Vermont feel that was exactly what we were looking for! Natalie was also onsite throughout our wedding ceremony making sure everything ran smoothly—which it did! We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful, stress-free, and memorable experience. I highly recommend the Kimpton Taconic Hotel for any couple looking for a stunning Vermont wedding venue!

The Taconic has been one of my favorite venues since the day they opened. Located less than 15 min away, I have created custom design cakes and desserts for a multitude of Weddings, Showers, Birthdays and Company events. The staff is always on point. They are a dream to work with as a vendor - they go above and beyond to make sure their guests and vendors are welcomed and valued.
