About this venue

When you decide to celebrate your wedding with us, you will have a 823-acre property, 25 acre private lake, 20 miles of private hiking and biking trails, the athletic fields and all camp buildings exclusively available to you and your guests, you also have the beauty and majesty of the Adirondack Park surrounding you. Located an hour north of Albany and just a 10 minute drive from either the south or north exit on I-87 we are perfectly located for your guests to find but also hidden away at the end of a private road, giving you a secluded, private experience. Plus you have the opportunity to design how you will spend your time on the property.

Mess Hall

Feel the Adirondacks in this beautiful facility, with rustic vibes, providing guests with a modern dining experience.

A large central wall that can be raised or lowered to turn 2 large rooms into 1, easy access to and from the BBQ area, a covered deck space, and stone fireplaces are among the bespoke features included in the building. With a fully fitted kitchen and dish room, our chefs are ready to help create a range of traditional dishes for your event. As our chefs are contracted for a full season, we are able to provide competitive pricing and also work with you on your menu in advance.

Non-exclusive Weekend

Description

We have a special weekend, when staff arrives, which is a non-exclusive weekend. Which means you will be sharing the property with staff members, for a discounted price. All meals at the Mess Hall, including reception ceremony and dinner, do remain private for the wedding, but not all of the cabins will be available for guests.

          If you are at all on the fence about having your wedding at FLC, go for it!! Our friends and family can not stop talking about how amazing the whole weekend was - from the food to the cabins to the amenities and the FLC staff. We had such a unique wedding experience and loved being able to play capture the flag the morning of our wedding and party post reception at the bonfire. Drew (main contact) was amazing to work with and available to us all weekend. Could not recommend more - FLC is a part of our lives forever!

          If you're on the fence about having a weekend long wedding experience at FLC, DO IT! This was by far the best weekend of our lives and even more than we could have ever imagined. We chose this venue because we really wanted a mountain wedding but also wanted our entire family there which was a lot. We started the weekend off with a kickball game that everyone either played or sat and cheered everyone on. The staff was there to help the second we were on the property, from unloading an entire trailer of decor and drinks to just making sure we were ok all weekend. Every meal was top notch delicious with options for everyone. We worked with Drew & Carlos for all of our pre wedding needs/ during the weekend and they both were amazing. I don't think Drew slept all weekend as he was available for absolutely everything we needed. Our ceremony at chapel was stunning and all of our guests made it to the top with some help of the camp giving rides. Our new favorite place and still on cloud 9 over our weekend together!

          Our wedding weekend at FLC: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SZQxgrn833c | Getting married at Forest Lake Camp was the best decision we've ever made! We wanted to get married in the mountains, but still have a full wedding reception with our friends and family and a rocking band (The New York Players). FLC gave us the ability to have it all -- and over an entire weekend! We kicked off our wedding weekend with a relay race down at the lake (highly recommend this as an ice breaker! Our guests were all friendly by the time we made it to the Friday BBQ.) Chapel View was absolutely stunning for our ceremony site and the dining hall looked beautiful for dinner. We rented a tent for the band and dance floor on the patio and had the time of our lives dancing and celebrating all night. The afterparty location at the dance pavilion was perfect as well. We brought in a wood fired pizza truck (Orapello's) that kept everyone fed and happy until the late, late hours of the night. It's the absolute perfect spot for an outdoorsy couple with friends and family that are ready to embrace the adventure of a rustic setting and nontraditional venue. We loved it all. Also, Carlos is a superhero -- I don't think that man slept a wink our entire weekend. We are so grateful for the whole staff & can't wait to return for alumni weekend for years to come!
