Located in the historic Downtown Rock Hill Cultural District, the Center for the Arts is housed in two restored 121-year old buildings. The Center houses the offices of the Arts Council of York County, the Dalton, Perimeter, and Edmund Lewandowski Classroom Galleries, and private artist studios. The Dalton Gallery features 7 - 9 exhibitions each year by local, regional, national, and international artists. It is a true arts destination for York county as it is home to offices of the Arts Council of York County, the Rock Hill Pottery Center, Art on Main, Concerts at the Courtroom, Hill City Church, and artist studios. Concerts are often held in the renovated historic courtroom on the second floor at the Gettys. It’s the perfect place to host receptions or other special occasions

A group of professional caterers and hospitality employees envisioned an event space like no other. We were lead to an aging, almost forgotten piece of our past. The old Cotton Depot in Clinton SC quietly sat on the edge of downtown. The building spoke to us, 17,000 square feet of handmade brick each telling a story, 11ft ceilings with exposed beams, arched windows and wide planked floors. We immediately began designing the space. Through our catering experience we knew the need for easy access, a good flow and having conveniently located facilities. We also knew the importance of having multifunctioning spaces that can be dressed up or down to make each event uniquely yours.
