We welcome you to The Lincoln Event Center. Our venue was originally a one room schoolhouse built sometime in the 1860's as The Blackman School. Later, as rural schools consolidated, the school was expanded in 1938 into a two room schoolhouse. Hidden Vineyard is a working farm and vineyard with an elegant old barn that looks out over the rolling fields. There is a large Catalpa tree near the barn that is the second-largest Catalpa tree in Michigan and makes for a wonderful outdoor ceremony site. The old barn hosts lovely receptions and has a large covered deck that overlooks the vineyard. 

The Chapel at The Morris Estate (formerly Morris Farms) has been providing a breathtaking backdrop for weddings since 1938. E.M. Morris built The Chapel as the Centre Meeting House on his 1,000 acre farm in Niles, Michigan. It began as the setting for his daughter's wedding and has since hosted important events for both the Morris family and community. Although there have been renovations to add modern conveniences, the property's quaint atmosphere and rich heritage will continue to be maintained. The area surrounding The Chapel provides a lovely and convenient location for a reception after the ceremony. Enjoy the peace and beauty of the woodland setting along the riverfront while celebrating with friends and family. Lodging is also available on this historic property at the River House. Our rental fee for the ceremony space of $1385 includes: rental of the venue (indoor sanctuary/outdoor courtyard), officiant services, wedding coordinator, custodial services, and premarital counseling materials, and rehearsal time ($100 additional if you plan to serve food at the rehearsal). If the sanctuary is rented, the price also includes a computer operator/pianist & audio tech to run the sound system. The fellowship hall rental for reception is an additional $400-$500 ($400 M-F/$500 Sat-Sun).
