“Where do I even begin - Stone Garden is a fairytale dream! Every single aspect of our experience, from the first moment we set foot on the property, was perfect! We used Stone Garden as our ‘welcome party’ venue the night before (we had a taco truck come yard games and bar service by Stone Garden), our wedding ceremony and reception venue, our florals, our bartending with custom drinks, and our coordinators. We are SO happy we did. For our wedding, we wanted something outdoors but with a rain plan, with a view on the water, with parking, flexible with our decor ideas, and close to hotels. We got all of this and beyond. Kristen and Frank really make magic happen. They are experts in paying attention to detail, going the extra mile to make your vision come to life, and making you feel important and celebrated. The second we met them we knew we were in good, trustworthy hands. Our wedding dreams included driving up to the ceremony in a 1955 Chevy, disco balls hung over the dance floor, tons of candles and bud vases, an extra cake for a birthday, vintage furniture, a portrait artist, an audio guestbook, and more. All of this was PERFECTLY achieved in the most gloriously beautiful way. IN THE RAIN. We were expecting a drizzle but it totally poured on our wedding day. Kristen and Frank communicated with us up to the final hours to decide how we could make the most of our day, and they were able to pivot and adapt to every single change- including moving furniture and putting sides on the tent. Their team kept us fed, informed, and completely carefree all night long. Our guests cannot stop telling us how beautiful the venue was (the view, the landscaping, the lights, everything!) and how nice and talented all the staff were. Everyone asks me how I found such a gem. We all loved it so much. It felt elegant and cozy at the same time. Every single recommendation for vendors, hotels, transportation -every piece of advice offered to us by Kristen and Frank- was so valuable and impeccable. I will never stop talking about my flowers- Kristen absolutely NAILED my vision and I have preserved all of them in as many ways as I could. Frank made the most gorgeous, delicious drinks for us and we drank them out of our own special glasses we brought from home, and the staff kept them full for us all night long, without us ever once asking!! Kristen’s coordination staff even took photos and videos for us throughout the night, and some of my very favorite keepsakes of the whole wedding are from them. They are angels!!! The whole team!!!!! I cannot recommend Stone Garden enough, I will be raving about it FOREVER.”

“Everything about this venue was incredible, from the picturesque mansion to the wonderful, supportive staff. From our very first interactions with the sales team (Helen) to our day-of staff (Casey & May), everyone was extremely professional, helpful, and a pleasure to be around. They were gracious in answering our questions, calming our nerves, and being an assuring force throughout it all. We are so grateful for the love and care they put into our special day to keep everything organized and on track. Fireside's food was phenomenal and all the late night snacks and desserts were a huge hit with our guests. There was also a nice flow throughout the night and our guests commented that they were grateful that they knew where to go at every point in the wedding. We had rain on our wedding day but we are pleased to say that the ceremony under the tent was still magical, and actually created a nice moody atmosphere and our photos came out amazing. The heaters kept the tent dry and comfortable all night. We hope someone else we know gets married at the Stevens Estate soon so that we can attend!”

“I was a floral designer providing centerpieces for a baby shower held there last fall (2023), in the Phillips Room. My experience as a vendor there was great. The venue was immaculate and modern inside, with the classic New England charm and vibe. The staff could not have been more helpful. They helped me with load-in, and the setup people were friendly and efficient. The coordinator Linda was also friendly, professional and on top of all the many details for the event (food, drinks, balloons, florals, favors, etc.). The room was light and airy, with lots of windows and light. The neutral background would work for almost any color palette. It is a beautiful venue in a classic New England setting, and I highly recommend it!”

“We just had our wedding at Smolak Farms and could not have had a better experience start to finish. Elaine was a godsend throughout the entire process. Elaine has been available and accommodating since day one. Throughout the entire process, she constantly checked in with us to ask us if we need anything or had any questions. She was readily available to answer any and all questions and offered suggestions and feedback throughout, that was greatly welcomed by us. As we got closer to our wedding date, Elaine helped us feel relaxed and organized. The day of the rehearsal, Elaine and her team were ready for our rowdy bridal party, and kept us organized and on track for a quick rehearsal. Elaine and her team were extremely detail oriented and had everything organized and set up the day of - they not only received and set up our charcuterie, board delivery and pastry delivery, but the entire venue was decorated beautifully beyond our initial vision. We got so many compliments that we owe to Elaine and her team on the location, ceremony, and reception. Elaine and her team went above and beyond all of our expectations for our wedding day and truly brought our wedding vision to life, and then some. We had been told to expect things to not go according to plan, we did not experience that at all. Everything went more than perfect that day.
