About this venue
Willowdale Estate is a private mansion, just 30-miles north of Boston, Massachusetts. Located within a 720-acre state forest, and along the pristine Ipswich River. Our private estate is the perfect setting for a New England wedding ceremony and reception. Our coordination team and catering staff will execute your plan with grace, leaving you free to enjoy the party and mix with your guests. At Willowdale Estate, we host two wedding seasons. Our Tent Season from May-October is perfect for parties between 125-240 guests, and our Mansion Season from November-April is better suited for smaller parties between 80-125 guests inside our Estate. As you search for a venue, we would love to hear from you! We can send open dates, host a tour of our space, or create a quote for you. Beautiful venue and next level hospitality!
We had an amazing experience at Willowdale and recommend them very highly. They know exactly how to surprise and delight guests - small touches like chocolate chip cookies and a handwritten note after our visit, cucumber mint water served to guests as they walk in, hors d'oeuvres brought out to us while we were taking photos... The entire team is fabulous, and we had an awesome experience with our coordinator Julia who is efficient, knowledgeable, and very supportive. Beautiful venue, incredible hospitality. And the food was AWESOME! Some of the best wedding food I have had anywhere. Thanks a ton Team Willowdale - we are so grateful for you!
Best of the best!
We absolutely loved our June wedding at Willowdale Estate! We happily booked the venue about 18 months in advance, and were so grateful to Willowdale’s team for expertly guiding us through the wedding planning process. We hosted our ceremony offsite, but from the moment we arrived for the reception, we were expertly taken care of! Our guests were blown away by the beauty of the property, the warmth and professionalism of the staff, and the superb quality of the food (many guests reached out to say it was the best wedding food they’d ever have - we’re inclined to agree!). Julia, our coordinator, helped us every step of the way, and made our day nothing short of spectacular. If you’re looking for a wedding filled with warmth and New England historic charm, you found the right place in Willowdale!
Absolutely amazing venue
We had an absolutely amazing wedding at Willowdale. The facility is gorgeous, the staff is amazing and everything was perfect. And the food, the food was so good! Before the actual amazing day, we had a seamless planning process, we always had someone to help us with questions (both big and small) and always felt supported. They also helped us with planning & coordinating with vendors. On the day of, our coordinator, Jeannine, was an absolute hero! We feel so lucky to have gotten married at such a beautiful place!
The Willowdale Estate is Exceptional
My wife and I got married at the Willowdale Estate in April 2024. The wedding, the staff, and the entire experience was exceptional for the entire Wedding. The beautiful venue, the ethereal vibes, the delicious food, everything was wonderful. Our guest we're talking about wedding (again the food is incredible) for many months after, and still do. Veronica our event coordinator was awesome throughout the planning process and on the day of, and didn't hesitate when we needed to pivot minor things to make the experience seamless. I could go on and on about how amazing the day was, but simply said it's an 11/10 on the scale of being spectacular. I give it my full endorsement.
