Hi, I’m Jerica, and I am OBSESSED! This is how I describe my relationship with desserts—and food in general. I took interest in culinary arts at a very young age. I cooked my first meal at 7 and my first brownies at 10. I romanticized the process. I loved picking the ingredients in my mother’s garden and also the open air markets back home. I loved preparing everything in cute neat bowls and learning from everyone who would teach me. I loved how the aroma filled the house. I loved setting the table and the conversations shared as we all enjoyed our meals. I have always had a loving relationship with food.

I moved to Las Vegas to prove to parents “baking wasn’t just a hobby” I worked my way up the culinary ladder working for Thomas Keller, Jean Georges, Joel Robuchon & Tom Coliccho, including catering to celebrities and high need clientele 24-7. After I had my son, my life took a change and I found myself to be a single mother looking for a better life. I met my husband and he has encouraged me to take my passion for cakes to another level. One day, a friend of mine asked if I wanted to take cake decorating classes at our local craft store. Those classes were the start of more learning and the launch of my hobby business.

My soft, buttery cookies will not only wow your guests with my attention to detail but their taste as well! As well as cookies, I love to work with buttercream cakes. I use an Italian Meringue buttercream that tastes absolutely amazing. It has a velvety texture and is not as sweet as your regular buttercream.
