“We found Lulan Studios about nine months before our wedding day. We were immediately drawn in by their professionalism and their reputation. Lulan is an inclusive photographer who was very receptive to our wedding vision. He and his team were incredibly kind, supportive, and helpful all throughout the process. We elected to go with Lulan Wang himself for our photographer who worked with an associate. After our initial consultation we were turned over to Shannon who was our go to contact for day to day clarifications and vendor contact until Lulan took over just before the wedding. Shannon was immensely resourceful and responsive. She communicated with our coordinator very efficiently and was always on top of our booking. We are very grateful to her as well for making the process so easy and for continuing that communication after the fact. On the day, Lulan and his associate were spectacular. It was clear his associate had more than enough talent for the job just like Lulan, but they divided and concurred by using two different types of cameras for different types of shots. We regret not doing an engagement session with them, but we will likely return for an Anniversary session in the future. We didn’t even need one though, because he is skilled enough that he understood us as a couple immediately. They made us feel comfortable and confident. They hyped us up and moved through the shot list masterfully. Nothing was missed and we captured far more than we expected. Please look through our attached photos as they speak for themselves. One of the most exciting moments was when Lulan handed us a little blue book filled with about fifteen physically printed preview photos DURING THE RECEPTION. A lovely surprise that absolutely shocked me. Turnover was 4-6 weeks and we got ours just before the six week mark right on schedule. We were floored. They are jaw-dropping. We ultimately got 950 photos permanently digitally available for high resolution download and access to a shop with impressive options for prints and albums of a wide array of types and sizes. I’m thrilled to show them to you here and implore you to consider booking Lulan Studios. We trusted in their ability from the beginning and we were not disappointed. They are among if not the absolute best in the business.”

“Tiago is a fabulous photographer and person. We planned an elopement wedding in Vegas, and he met with us first to determine compatibility with his style. Then he helped set up a schedule that worked for what we wanted. On the day of the wedding, he picked us up from the hotel and drove us to the Little White Chapel, drove us to multiple locations for photographs and gave us a brief tour of the art district even, then at the end of the sessions, dropped us back off in Vegas at our hotel. This is far beyond what we expected of him. His photograph style is great. He gave us directions on posing for more dramatic effects and chose great locations with nice backdrops for the photos. When we finally received the photos we were blown away at the results. I have never seen such great wedding photography. They are more like art than the stilted photos I am used to seeing from weddings. He is a very fun and nice person to talk with, and we interacted a lot during the 4 hours we spent with him. I would book him again for a photo shoot (obviously not my wedding, but for some other type of photo needs like portraits and such). He's just great. He's an artist. He's a great human being. And he cares about the people he works with. Great experience.”

He went above and beyond by scoping out the environment of each setting beforehand to familiarize himself as well as give me insight to any changes, which I loved. For example, I had a very specific place in mind for my wedding photos. He checked out the area days before and gave some pointers based off the location, such as recommended time of day to shoot. He also showed up to the location an hour before our agreed upon time and realized there was a wedding/reception taking place there and he quickly shifted gears to find a great spot nearby before I even headed his way! “We hired Brittany to take our engagement photos and she did such a wonderful job on them! We were super grateful when she agreed to shoot our wedding as well. She came prepared with a lot of great ideas for poses and suggestions on how to make the pictures look more natural rather than planned out. She was able to capture our day perfectly, making sure that while she was focused on key members, she would also get pictures of the guests. She did a great job at capturing candid moments and was always on the move to get the best angle. She also did a great job at keeping us all laughing so we didn’t get any awkward forced smiles.
