The Lightner Museum was a wonderful venue for our wedding celebration. From the very first interaction, their communication style was quick, smooth, yet a bit complicated at times. However, the quality of their work and overall value was truly phenomenal. The historical elegance of the space provided the perfect backdrop for our special day. When traffic was terrible and we couldn't find parking, the staff even went to my car to retrieve the linens, going above and beyond to ensure everything went smoothly. While a few minor decor items were overlooked, the guests were none the wiser, and it was still a lovely evening from start to finish. We're so grateful to the Lightner Museum team for helping to make our wedding day truly unforgettable.

Tortuga Jacks was our only choice for our wedding reception. From the very beginning, Cody was incredibly responsive to our questions and requests, making the planning process smooth and stress-free. We used both the indoor room and outdoor patio allowing us to create the perfect atmosphere for our special day. One of the highlights was their mascot Jack who came and took pictures and danced with us! Outside they had corn hole boards which was a big hit with everyone. We were very pleased with the professionalism of the sales and event planning team. The sales team went out of their way to accommodate our late request for a meeting. And the handoff to the event team was flawless. Our event coordinator was helpful when reviewing our options for food and drink selections and very responsive and flexible to our requests. Our experience with rooming requests and lists in other weddings (3) had not been great, but with this hotel and our event planner, everything was exactly correct and with all requests met. Our suite was the perfect size for entertaining all weekend. The food at the Welcome Party was beautifully displayed and delicious. The Duval room was the perfect size and the attending staff and bartender could not have done a better job. We also hosted a Farewell brunch and again the room size was perfect and the food was “best brunch food ever” as exclaimed by our guests. We would highly recommend this hotel !

The Riverside house was not only gorgeous, but everyone there was so amazing and welcoming and it truly was the best spot to have our wedding! Ashley was so kind from the beginning all the way to the end! Anytime I had a question, she had an answer! I felt so comfortable and they made sure our wedding day ran smooth and that we were comfortable and happy with how everything was going. Truly, it is a beautiful venue and I would recommend them to anyone still needing to find a venue!

From the front desk to the bartenders to the event staff we felt special and like everyone was just as invested in us having the most amazing time as we were. Every time we came downstairs someone would say Hey Bride and Groom, first drink is on me! By the end of the week we both felt more like friends than guests. Absolutely stunning venue if you’re looking for a classic elevated backyard wedding feel. Every detail was perfect and we would get married there every weekend if we could! The food was amazing, from breakfast, lunch, dinner, to banquet. Service was fantastic. Our guests are still calling to tell us how beautiful everything was and how delicious the food was. Our stay was great. I was in the tower suite and there was plenty of room for my 10 bridesmaids flower girls and moms coming in and out. I didn’t want to leave!! We actually extended our stay and considered doing it again. Carla was fantastic!! If you’re planning an event with her you will learn she does everything she can to make your vision come to life. We had our wedding here in September 2024 and it beyond met our expectations. The venue itself was so beautiful and we had such a great experience with the staff! Everybody was so personable and helpful in making our day what it was! I could not recommend, this venue enough. If you were looking for an outdoor space, this is the one for you. It’s still provides wonderful coverage without sacrificing the feeling of being outside. The lighting was amazing and it really gave such a romantic atmosphere as the sun went down. The grounds also make a beautiful place for photographs!! This is a very special and intimate place for a wedding!
