Engelbrecht Farm sits on 8 acres and is located in the heart of farming country. A very unique structural features of the barn is the opening to allow guests to be seated to two levels and both levels can look at the head table for a gallery type feel. The other unique feature is its size. It is the largest actual barn (not modern structure that looks like a barn) within multiple states at 4500 square feet. Adjacent to the barn is the old 4000 square foot feedlot with flower garden and iron pergola. Late in the day makes for a great spot for outdoor games. With the barn comes the recently restored, three bedroom farmhouse originally constructed in the 1890’s. One amazing aspect for the wedding package is it’s a standard three day booking. Families arrive on Friday and check out on Sunday. This gives them time to relax and take the whole experience in. Plus the time is spent making their wedding their own. The Willowhaven Nature Park is a restored 1900's barn that transforms into a spectacular location to host graduation parties, small weddings, bridal or baby showers, family gatherings, or business retreat. Large room with tables and chairs is available at limited times and the facility can accommodate up to 95 guests*. Alcohol is permitted with proper permit and additional fees. Willowhaven park also has outdoor rentals available at our amphitheater, gardens and picnic pavilion.

Nestled less than one mile from Interstate 55 and historic Route 66 in Lexington, is Castle Gardens, a truly unique estate. Castle Gardens features the nationally recognized David Hyatt Van Dolah house, a MTC 36-passenger train, and a locally restored Allan Herschell 36-horse carousel.

The Crow and Calico Tavern at Crozehead Cooperage is a truly unique venue. Set on the backdrop of the oldest farm in Monee, built in 1864, we are the only cooperage in Illinois and one of only 28 in the US. We are 2023 honorees of the IL Bureau of Tourism 'Illinois Makers' award. With over 5 acres, including 2 acres of woodland, a nature trail and a scenic pond, it lends itself to a fairy tale atmosphere. The Crow and Calico Tavern is a quaint and cozy premium whiskey bar with a European feel. A biergarten provides 750 square feet of covered space and includes use of our high tables and fest tables if desired. A furnished side patio provides an ideal spot for a cigar and bourbon! Furnished alcoves along our woodline with fire pits to light the night sky and warm guests souls. We provide a furnished 20 x 30 cocktail tent and outdoor bar. The price includes 2 bartenders for 8 hours as well as an on-site cooper to provide barrel crafting demonstrations and tours at your guests leisure.

The Old Rugged Barn property is extremely versatile and the perfect location for your rustic wedding and reception. On the property, there is a large main barn with a 2000 sq ft main floor and a large loft overlooking the aisle and dance floor. In addition to this main building, a large enclosed pavilion and grain bin gazebo also sit on the property, with multiple pastures surrounding it for either parking purposes or use for event activities. Ceremonies can be held in any of the buildings, or outdoors, so the venue can accommodate and bring to life any of your rustic wedding dreams!
