Hi, I am MirShanda the owner and chef of Kismet's Cakes located in Decatur, Ga. Growing up with a love of all things sweet and beautiful I found myself seeking a way to express myself both in the kitchen and artistically. Eventually, I found a way to combine my love of pastry and art. I decided to enroll at the Art Institute of Atlanta where I earned my degree in Culinary Arts with a concentration in baking and pastry. After graduating I worked for a short time in a bakery located in the Buckhead area and then chose to go into my business for myself.

Hi! I'm Elsa owner and baker of Abuelita's Flans. I've been baking these delicious homemade Cuban flan (baked custard) since I was 6 years old. So at this point I'm pretty much an expert!
