Southern Weddings and Rentals

5.0

  • Starts at $3,500
  • Serves Atlanta, GA

Southern Weddings and Rentals is a wedding rental and planning company based in Atlanta, Georgia. Led by owner Brandy Yungel, the passionate and creative team is adept at creating bespoke and breathtaking events. With more than 12 years of experience, they offer a personalized and professional service that will ensure you feel like a guest at your own wedding.

When I first spoke with Brandy over the phone, I literally felt like I was talking to one of my friends. She immediately tuned in to my personality, our love story and she helped us create the perfect vision for our wedding day. When we first met in person, it was even better. Brandy and Jill created a beautiful visual display of multiple center pieces for the reception. Our conversations easily flowed from wedding wishes to just life in general. And we had a lot of laughs along the way! Brandy has a great eye for detail and her creativity is effortless. I remember responding to some of her suggestions by saying, “Am I wrong? I want it all!” She simply nailed it! Not only did the décor and all of the florals pop with our lively colors, Brandy was the ultimate coordinator! The additional service was so worth it! One of the things that impressed me the most, in her role as our coordinator, was that whenever we talked, Brandy always reminded me of a detail that I had long forgotten. She was attentive, patient, responsive, and thorough. Her years of experience in this industry is evident. I can’t believe all of the planning is over. But I am reminded of her commitment to excellence, as I see all of the details in our wedding photos. My "bling bouquet" and the "pink box" were PERFECT! I know that Brandy has moved on to serve other couples but she has definitely left her mark in our hearts. She took GREAT CARE of us and made sure that our day was one to remember. An advocate, organizer, planner, decorator, designer, my “chaos coordinator,” and genuinely kind person. I highly recommend Brandy, Jill and the team at Southern Weddings and Rentals. You won’t be disappointed!

The Flower Garden Shop

5.0

  • Starts at $1,500
  • Serves Atlanta, GA

Weddings are a celebration of love. As humans, we have a deep, primal need for a “village,” a group of people whom we trust to support us. And where would we be without the love of our family and chosen family? It heals us, brings us together, celebrates our differences, and it allows us to keep going when this big adventure gets scary. So when we get together for a wedding, we get to share that love with those we care about. Just like a painter or a poet, those involved in the planning of a wedding are artists hired to create a scene that reflects the love in the space. We would love to be a part of your team!

Araiza Florals

4.4

  • Starts at $6,000
  • Serves Atlanta, GA

Araiza Florals is a wedding + event floral design company based in Georgia. We use flowers as a form of storytelling and create designs that reflect our clients' love story through intentional, bespoke, and romantic blooms.

In a field of floral designs that felt repetitive and overdone, I struggled to get excited about my wedding flowers—until I met Darian. Her floral creations were a breath of fresh air, with unique blooms that burst with color, whether vibrant or muted. She perfectly captured my aesthetic from the start, and even though we scheduled follow-up meetings to tweak the design, there was no need; her vision was already stunning. On the day of the wedding, her execution was flawless, and I was absolutely blown away. Months later, I’m still obsessed with how my bouquet looked. Darian’s talent will catch your eye, but it’s her professionalism and kind soul that will make your wedding planning experience stress-free.

My wedding was made extra beautiful all thanks to these wonderful ladies! I really appreciated the transparency of pricing, especially when a lot of other wedding vendors during this already stressful time were keeping that important detail so hush hush until I had already sent 10 emails back and forth. They’re completely affordable if you’re on a budget but if you have a little extra money to spend on flowers, give it all to these girls and go all out. They will make your dreams come true and more, and it’s worth every penny, I promise.

Pollyanna Richter Weddings

5.0

Atlanta, GA

Our sustainable/foam-free aesthetic design mimics nature almost as if the flowers were handpicked from the gardens and loosely gathered together. We work with lush high quality specialty blooms, vines and colorful foliage to create an ever-changing, yet classic and timeless floral design. From romantic sweet peas to heirloom peonies, our blooms are carefully selected to highlight the design of your choosing. Our bloom varieties are seasonally appropriate and are directly sourced by U.S. flower farms. We knew we could trust her with our big weekend and we felt comfortable knowing our planner was taking care of everything, from coordinating vendors insurance and arrivals, helping us select invites, making our vision come to life, and orchestrating the wedding weekend... it was truly an exceptional experience. French Market Flowers

5.0

Atlanta, GA

At French Market Flowers, we promote a fluid, organic style in our wedding arrangements and bouquets. Because we grow many of our flowers, we are able to offer quality, freshness, and originality. Peonies and poppies are beautiful together, but poppies don't ship well, so most suppliers can't provide them to florists. We also grow tweedia, the most adorable little blue flower. There are many more specialty flowers, like sweet peas, scented geranium, and viburnum berries that dress our unique bouquets. And don't forget your flower crowns!

At times I've considered whether I've been too passionate about the florist we selected for our wedding, but I don't think so. I truly cannot imagine having a better experience in any way. I had a fairly specific vision for our wedding flowers, and from the minute we met Cindy I knew she "got it" and was going to make our wedding day beautiful. She planted specific flowers for us, and kept them set aside even when we postponed 6 months due to Covid. I knew going into our wedding day that I would love the flowers, but I was still blown away by how gorgeous everything turned out -- my bouquet, my bridesmaids' bouquets, the boutonnieres, our centerpieces, the head table, our ceremony backdrop, and even our cake flowers. Cindy is so incredibly kind, cheerful, and easy to work with. She creates stunning arrangements, and I feel her pricing is very reasonable. I would encourage any bride to stop your florist search and go with this team!

The flowers, arrangements, and installations were truly breathtaking. Catherine was kind, patient, professional, and delivered a five-star experience during the planning period and at the wedding itself. She took her time to make sure she really understood us and what we wanted, she worked brilliantly with the natural features and beauty of the venue (Callanwolde), and all of her creative touches were what ended up making the flowers so beautiful for our special day. Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers

    4.9

    • Serves Atlanta, GA

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

    Awarded Best of Zola
We had a tropical themed wedding and used Flower Moxie for tropical flowers and greenery: bridal bouquet, bridesmaid bouquets, ceremony arch flowers. I wish there were more tropical related videos on their DIY Academy, but I did love working with my assigned florist and the help desk was quick in their response. For those who are getting married at the same location that the flowers are being delivered (my parents' home), I wish we would have done all of the floral arrangements the day before instead of 2 days before. And our spray roses came a day later and were a little sad looking. But overall, we were very happy with the service and highly recommend to others!

    Bloom Culture: Do-it-yourself Wedding Flowers

A common misconception about Bloom Culture is that we are telling people they SHOULD DIY their wedding flowers… when in reality we are telling people they CAN DIY their wedding flowers… if they want to. We have pre-made DIY Flower Collections or you can get a custom design with our FREE online quote or chat with us one on one for more guidance!

    Awarded Best of Zola
As my fiancé and I started the wedding planning process, we joked that our loose theme would be “flowers and love.” We knew we wanted lots of beautiful, lush florals as the primary decor focus, and also knew we didn’t want to spend the many thousands of dollars to achieve that look with a standard florist. If you’re in the same boat, and have an appetite for some DIYing, I’d STRONGLY recommend working with Bloom Culture. After some Googling for DIY wedding florals, I came across Bloom Culture and spoke with Allison for a custom consultation. During the call, Allison helped me express the type of floral look we were going for, and built out a custom floral package that would achieve it. She also laid out the delivery and prep process, and we landed on a final package and timeline for delivery. We received a LARGE box of flowers the week before the wedding and were immediately pleased with the quantity and quality of flowers we had received. Allison’s guide mentioned that some crushed or damaged blooms would be completely normal, but everything was so well packaged we didn’t notice more than a few damaged stems. From there, the DIYing began. Between unpacking, trimming, de-thorning, trimming again, building bouquets, arrangements, boutonnieres, etc, etc, it was a LOT of work. However, we referenced Allison’s guides (written, video tutorials) religiously and they laid out everything perfectly. She strongly recommends having plenty of assistants -- pay attention to this advice! Find a few trusted friends or family members who have time and artistic ability and it will make all the difference in your stress levels. The flowers all lasted beautifully for the wedding and we received so many compliments on how they looked. Allison - thank you for everything!

She took the care to make sure I had what I wanted and sent me multiple pictures during the process and of the finished result before we picked them up for the wedding. She accepted my feedback and made changes to the bouquets to match my vision. I still have my bouquet and my husbands boutonniere as keepsakes that remind me of our special day.
