Our beautiful 2 story lakeside lodge was built in 1925. The Italian inspired architecture and stunning views have made it a popular vacation spot for the elite and famous in the past. Now an exclusive hire venue, it has been tastefully renovated to complement the original cypress ceilings, grand staircases, and period chandeliers throughout. With an indoor capacity of 150 guests in the ballroom, or outdoor capacity of 200 guests either in the courtyard or on the lawn overlooking Lake Pierce , Bella Cosa is the perfect space to cater to all your requirements. We have one, or two-day venue rental packages available, with optional on-site accommodation in our 11 guest suites for up to 30-32 people. Not to mention a dedicated “getting ready room” providing the perfect space to prepare for your big day.

We recently celebrated our wedding at Bella Cosa on September 15, 2024, and it was truly a dream come true! The vintage Italian estate aesthetic is simply stunning, and the breathtaking views made for a magical backdrop for our special day. After viewing only one other venue, we knew right away that Bella Cosa was the one. Leading up to our wedding, the planning process was seamless, and the staff was incredibly responsive to all our questions. They made everything so easy and stress-free. Our guests can't stop raving about how beautiful the venue was, and we couldn't agree more! The estate also offered lovely accommodations for us and some of our guests. The new honeymoon suite was absolutely perfect for my husband and I —such a romantic retreat! All the vendors worked together flawlessly, creating the wedding of our dreams. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you, Bella Cosa, for making our day unforgettable! We highly recommend this venue to anyone looking to host their wedding in a truly magical setting.

The main ballroom has 27 foot ceilings and grey walls looking into the stage, with historical aged brick walls and 45 feet airspace before the original theater fly nest. Historical and modern aesthetics collide at The Fariss. Located in historical Tampa Heights, Fariss Events is a designated local landmark in the Franklin Street Historic District also known as Yellow Brick Row. Your guests will dance on fully renovated, 100 year old Florida Birch floors and will have gorgeous Tampa views from mahogany restored windows. The Fariss is on the second floor of the Fariss building and two blocks from Armature Works, Water Works Park, and Riverwalk.

Just outside of downtown Tampa sits The Orlo, a private social club housed within the historic Spafford House and ballroom. Orlo J. Spafford, the president of the Tampa National Bank, built the Orlo in 1896 to share with his son and his family. In 1922 the Orlo was sold to the Tampa Women’s Club where the addition of a ballroom was made to host formal parties and extravagant dances. This historical ballroom still stands today and is ready to host your next party or extravaganza. Some of our favorite features are our gorgeous bridal suite on the second floor. It has so much natural lighting (a photographers dream) and large enough for you and your bridal party to get ready on your wedding morning! The Orlo has been restored and still has the original wood floors, chandeliers, and grand staircase. It is the perfect blank slate for your wedding or event!

When I heard about the Colonial at Sunset and its location, I assumed it was going to be another barn venue. Nothing wrong with barn venues, it just wasn’t our vision for our day. The entire property was our backyard wedding dream and the owners made our experience better than we could have imagined. Britt and her husband went above and beyond for us. Before we even arrived to start getting ready for the day, her husband was out front pressure washing the outdoor area where we chose to have our ceremony. I am so grateful for their hearts and the details they payed attention to so we didn’t have to worry about it or even think about it. We opted for the all inclusive package which made our experience with planning that much easier. I recall one meeting asking if I was missing anything or if there was anything more I needed to do because it all felt too easy and she assured me that with her help, that’s how it was supposed to feel. Leading up to the day of the wedding we knew we wanted our focus to be on each other and God and walking into the day we knew we could confidently do that because of Britt and the way she serves others on their special day with excellence. If you’re not just looking for a venue but a family who cares about you and your day, then you should stop looking because you’ve found it with the Colonial at Sunset and their amazing team.
