The Vintage Rail was the perfect space to host our wedding! The courtyard was perfect for our ceremony and was a seamless transition into the indoor space for our reception. Sunago Bell is honestly a photographer's dream! We're so thankful that our couples booked Sunago Bell for their wedding ceremony/reception needs. It's not only a fantastic location overlooking historic Denton Square, the indoor aesthetic is LIT (quite literally with hundreds of vintage style edison bulbs suspended from the ceiling)! Moreover, the staff there is incredible and top tier when it comes to all things event planning; everyone was very easy to work with which is a huge plus in the wedding industry. In the Spring of 2016, our family came together to build this venue in the hopes that we could provide a peaceful place for the most joyful celebrations. We believe that the focus of any celebration should be on the joy you share with the people you love, so we’re here to take care of some of the details. Full access to a storage room packed with decor for your use is included with all rental packages. The Cottage offers multiples rooms and a mirrored salon. The Cabin (dating back to 1905) has been remodeled to serve as a getting ready-space as well. Our Chapel features family-made stained-glass and antique pews. The chapel sides can open to provide the scenery of being outdoors with the convenience of being indoors. The two-story Reception Hall can accommodate up to 242 people. Exposed wooden beams contrast with chandeliers that cast a welcoming glow across the interior. Our venue is located close to modern amenities while still offering a tranquil setting for inspired celebrations.

With wedding day nerves, I was a mess trying to stay stress free and calm. Emma, being the perfect right hand gal for the day, took care of literally every detail. I did not have to worry about reaching out to vendors, or scheduling times for them to arrive. Emma did it all and with the sweetest charisma that made everyone feel taken care of. Even with a little family drama that can take place on your special day, Emma made sure that my husband and I were first priority and that what we wanted took precedence. I enjoyed every moment working with her from day one of planning to ending the night with sparklers. For better understanding of who you are working with when you choose Emma as your big day stress reliever, she is like a friend you can’t wait to see rather than a stranger on the sidelines. She is prompt and puts her entire self into making sure your day is the best one yet. We absolutely adored her! And to top it all off, the venue was a literal DREAM! It was magical.

B&C was absolutely amazing to work with throughout the entire wedding process. They always responded back quickly answering any questions and were helpful along the way. The venue is beautiful and we loved the exposed brick wall and farmhouse tables. Having the catering in house was wonderful! Not only did the set the tables how we wanted but the food was HANDS down the best we have ever had at a wedding. All the way around B&C was amazing to work with and I would recommend them to anyone!Read Less

The Pines of Alvarado offers a unique blend of urban convenience and rustic charm. This versatile venue features both indoor and outdoor spaces, allowing you to create a wedding experience that perfectly reflects your vision.

We have only positive things to say about the Pines of Alvarado. There was ample parking. With the gazebo, two pergolas and multiple blooming plants, the approach to the building was very attractive. It was 99 degrees when we arrived at the venue, but the room was cool and comfortable. The catering kitchen worked well (our caterer loved it) and included a freezer, which was really nice since we served ice cream for our groom's treat. The kitchen also worked very well as our bar, with a convenient place to put a large frozen margarita machine. We loved having the ability to provide our own alcohol and appreciated the Pines providing the (required) security officers. We did put one row of pipe and drape up so bar goers didn't see the catering work going on behind the drape. The room was large enough to seat 130 guests for a dinner buffet - with adequate space to move about. There was also room for multiple "specialty" tables and a dance floor. There are giant barn doors that were perfect for entrance of the wedding party, as well as for the sparkler send off. A large window at the far end of the building let in ample natural lighting. The building was spotless every time we were there and they had ample tables, chairs, and cloths to meet our needs. The building is rustic in design, but became really pretty with minimal decorations - especially once the strings lights were turned on. Kylie was great to work with. She was flexible, responsive and attentive. Her knowledge and suggestions (when solicited) were invaluable. We are so glad we found the Pines of Alvarado. It was definitely worth the short drive from the metroplex.

We had our wedding here June 24th, 2023. The place is so beautiful and it was everything we wanted! The staff were always genuinely kind and made sure we had everything we needed to make our wedding day perfect! Shots out to Alexis and Aiza because we spoke with them the most and they were just amazing! I would give the venue a 10 and recommend it to others. Thank you to all the staff at the Hampton Event Center!!

Don’t settle for less when you deserve the absolute best.

We were wanting to do more of a “party” than a traditional wedding, and McKinney Flour Mill was one of the few vendors to really understand our vision and work with us on it. They were always very responsive and answered all my questions, and they let us come in on multiple weekends to tour the venue and develop our layout. I also loved that they had a decor room add on option and they had tons of awesome decorations we could use. Everything was going perfectly until the day of. When we got to the venue the day of the wedding, there were ceremony chairs lined up instead of the tables that we needed set up as we were not doing a traditional ceremony (so there must have been some miscommunication within their team on this). However, it wasn’t a huge deal and our wedding party was able to quickly get the room re-organized. The wedding itself was great and went off without a hitch! But then when we were cleaning up afterwards, the owner seemed pretty annoyed and short with us. We brought in some of our own decorations as well as used some of theirs and we had discussed previously that we would give them our decorations we had brought in to use as part of their decor room for future weddings. When we were actually cleaning up, the owner wanted us to take everything of ours and leave nothing in the decor room so we ended up just throwing all of our decorations out. Overall, they were great to work with and we loved the venue, but the ending was just very weird….
