1812 Hitching Post was an absolute dream to work with for the couple’s wedding. As a photographer I thought the communication from the venue was efficient, organized, and the staff were incredibly kind throughout the wedding day. Working with them on site was great. The quality of their work was stunning - the vintage, beautiful grounds provided a gorgeous outdoor space for the wedding and reception. They alap make for stunning photos. Everything flowed seamlessly on the day of, thanks to the venue's attention to detail and commitment to making the couple’s special day perfect. Any couple would have a fantastic, well-organized and amazing experience at 1812 Hitching Post.

Just 1 hour east of Charlotte, LinCrest farms is a family-owned Century Farm located in the heart of Yadkinville North Carolina. We offer Both indoor and outdoor options. Our outdoor pavilion offers a covered area for about 40 guests in addition to larger open area for tents, dance spaces, and seating for up to 500 people that overlooks some of our rolling pastures, home to our Black Angus cattle, herd donkeys, and family horses. Our Indoor Ball Room space, once a repair garage, converted into a more elegant, yet rustic space for all to enjoy. This space offers a prep kitchen for your preferred caterer, bridal suite, and a large heated/cooled reception or ceremony space for up to 200 guests. We offer 5 parking lots, with no stair entry for easy wheelchair access. Many of our preferred vendors offer exclusive deals when you book their services for your LinCrest Farms Event! LinCrest Farms is an amazing venue to work with! The venue is very spacious both inside and outside, offering couples ample room to host their wedding. The venue manager was readily available whenever our vendors needed anything, and they went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable throughout the entire process. Green Gables Farm was the perfect place for our wedding. Their communication was timely, primarily via email, and they were very responsive to our questions and requests throughout the planning process. The venue itself was charming, comfortable, clean and organized - creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere for our bridal party and guests. Christi and her team pulled everything together seamlessly, coordinating with our other vendors to ensure the day ran smoothly from start to finish. The photo booth was a great addition to our wedding and Christi even took the time to send us photos left behind. We ended up having one of the coldest days of the year for our wedding, but the team did everything possible to make our guests comfortable. It was still a wonderful day despite the cold. We're so grateful to the Green Gables Farm team for helping make our special day absolutely perfect. We cannot say enough about Green Gables and their coordination team! We would recommend Green Gables to any couple looking for a charming wedding venue with a more than efficient coordination!

There is a full commercial caterer's kitchen, public bathrooms, and grooms suite. The open but covered grand hall is 6000 sf with 2 huge chandeliers, Edison string lights, post lights, and a huge rock fireplace. There are also motorized curtains on the west side that can be closed or opened with a touch of a button. Scott with Big R Orchards is phenomenal! He is a joy to work with - professional, positive energy, incredibly kind and gets the job done! He was very responsive and answered all of my many questions throughout the planning process. He also gladly accommodated a few last minute set up changes. Scott was extremely helpful during the ceremony, carting us across the property to get to our spots for ceremony and golden hour. The property itself is beautiful and well-maintained. We had a fall wedding and the trees were just gorgeous! The tables, chairs and decore that he provided were exactly as described. The venue structure is awesome and the recent upgrades really elevated the space. Scott’s space is already so beautiful that you really don’t need much in terms of decore. If you are looking for an outdoor wedding venue with natural beauty that won’t break the bank, look no further. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue, owner or crew to work with!

From the beginning, Rebecca was incredibly on top of our needs and communication was never an issue - she was always there if we needed her. The venue itself was spacious, accessible, and accommodating, which allowed us to truly relax and enjoy our special day. They went above and beyond to contribute to the success of our wedding, like playing our ceremony music (which was one less thing for us to worry about) and providing silverware for our buffet when our caterer forgot. I held my son and his now wife’s reception here in Sept 2024. You will not find a better person to work with than Sandra. She has the best idea’s and will help make your event special and perfect. The Bonaparte castle is a must see to appreciate its beauty. Her way of putting ideas together with your own brings her event space to life. Not only are the renovating a castle but they have a great outdoor space including a fire pit. There is a small tavern that can be used for that very purpose. Pilot Mountain Vineyards is the best of the best. I was a bride at their stunning venue, and my husband and I feel so unbelievably grateful to have found this place. Kari and Mark (owners) are exceptional: a duo who make the wedding planning and wedding day stress-free, fun, and easy. The food was so delicious, I've asked for their Marry Me Chicken recipe! We had guests coming up throughout the night to tell us not only how delicious the food was, not only how gorgeous the view was, not only how fun the music selection was (PMV is the DJ too!) but how it was the BEST WEDDING they'd ever attended. When we ran into a bump in the timeline (I REALLY wanted that First Look moment, but we had spent too much time on pre-ceremony shots), Kari stopped the traffic to the venue so that we could still have this essential, beautiful moment to ourselves. We got our First Look photos, thanks to Kari. She saved the day! And made it so smooth after that. We will never forget this night. We will never forget Kari and Mark and their incredible venue. This venue takes pride in your customer experience. They will work hard to go the extra mile to make sure that your needs are met. They are kind and provide top notch communication. They respond quickly and they are a pleasure to work with. They have a nice outdoor patio area with a bar for serving drinks or a meal, open front room and kitchen. Great location for any type of intimate event. We did a networking event here and everyone had such a great time. Our Magnolia Ballroom seats up to 225 guests and includes a large covered patio with a casual feel. The patio can be used as a Wedding Ceremony space or a gather space for meetings or other events. The Magnolia Commons is an open event space that will fit up to 60 guests. Our on-site caterer, Savory Moments will provide decadent meals for any occasion. The sister-owned company recently celebrated their 10 year anniversary - saying they know everything about exceptional food would be an understatement!

We had the opportunity to work at Magnolia Woods two consecutive weekends. The first week with Jodie one of the owners and Amy the Office Manager. The next week with Heather the other owner and Chris the Day of Coordinator. They were all extremely professional and made sure our couples were very well taking care of. During the week before both events, we had an on-site visit and communicated by email with Amy. She was always prompt with her responses and very accommodating. Needless to say, the whole team for both weddings were equally accommodating. Magnolia Woods also provide off-site catering as well. I would highly recommend Magnolia Woods to anyone looking for a venue for any type of event. Awesome team of professionals, great location, delicious food, and a very nice facility.

Absolutely WONDERFUL experience from start to finish! The owners are incredibly sweet and committed to making your event be exactly what you envisioned. We have been up to Adaumont Farm over and over again for private events, weddings, and other gatherings. The consistency of how well things are run is exceptional. On site crews including planners, building managers, all the way down to the groundskeepers all have the same vision - to make sure everybody's experience is incredible. It's hard to run a venue. It's really hard to run a venue well. It's almost unheard of to have a venue run extremely well consistently, week after week. This is the diamond standard for us!

LUXE marble floor and high ceiling creates a grand and modern look. The huge outdoor covered patio is the most unique in the Charlotte area. Being able to bring your own vendors saves a lot of money on alcohol and gives you control over what you want to do. I think Luxe is the best venue in Charlotte as long as your guest count is under 200.

In 1929, Jean-Pierre Auguste Dalmas, a Waldensian immigrant from Villar Pellice, Italy, started construction on the dairy barn on his property in Valdese, NC. After the barn had been completed, work began on the main house. He built a rock veneered masterpiece, large enough to house his 7 children. He cleared a field for a vineyard and until his death in 1972 (at the age of 92), he made wine in the basement of the main house every autumn.

Waldensian Heritage Venues provided a truly unique and memorable experience for my client’s wedding. The venue had a mysterious and authentic ambiance and reasonable price point. The layout was easy to navigate, which made it simple to keep the bride and groom separate before the ceremony. We were particularly impressed by the beautiful lighting at the top of the stairs, which created a stunning backdrop for our first look photos. Hartsoe Farms was phenominal. They far exceeded my expectations. When we booked our wedding, Kasey Hartsoe showed us a book of decorations to choose from. She helped me customize my tables based off my color choices and she put the flowers and decorations together. During the process after I left, she sent me pictures until I was satisfied with the results. I love that they set up and tear down for the clients! When we took our photos, there were so many locations to choose from. Its so peaceful and beautiful out there on the farm. Since our wedding almost two years ago there have been numerous improvements to the property. The shelter is now closed in with a beautiful gray wood on the exterior and a brown rustic look on the inside. The beautiful fairy lights make you feel transported. They also built a beautiful bridge you can take pictures on or walk over into the woods where there is alsp a bench to take pictures or get away for a private moment to speak as newly weds. I particularly like The Lounge where you can get ready or do touch ups before your event. The "Bridal" suite is elegant with many places to sit and a bar in the bathroom to do your make up. The "Grooms" suite is very manly, and well decorated. They provide wine glasses and whisky glasses for a sophisticated look in photos and for your guests in the bridal/groom lounge. They also added some out door bathrooms so your guests dont have to go all the way into the Lounge. They also do your music for you if you send a playlist. Overall, I can't believe this location is as cheap as it is with the services provided. If i could give 11/10 stars I would!! Thanks Hartsoe Farms for the perfect wedding!
