Nazareth Hall is known throughout the region as a banquet and wedding facility, but it’s the rich history and lush setting that draws people here. Built in 1927 as an all-boy Catholic boarding school. It eventually evolved into a renowned military school for boys. Throughout its history the school stayed true to its Catholic roots and the nuns who served and taught here. Operating until 1982 the stories written within its walls are still told today. Re-emerging with a new mission and purpose in April of 1991, Nazareth Hall was reborn. It is in this picturesque place, reminiscent of castles of old, that brides come to be married and celebrate with family and friends in grand ballrooms. The classrooms and meeting spaces offer the perfect vintage background for business training sessions, and the manicured lawns have been host to numerous parties and festivities.

For your special day, plan a wedding made by nature. Set your wedding outdoors in one of our formal gardens or spaces, or indoors amid the lush tropical setting of the Conservatory. We offer seven distinct spaces, including a fragrant Herb Knot Garden, colorful Perennial Garden, the serene and intimate Willow Pond Island, or the summer-blooming Gateway Garden. All outdoor weddings include an indoor backup space in case of inclement weather.

AVAILABLE THROUGH MARCH OF 2023. Located in Detroit, Michigan, State Savings Bank Detroit is a unique wedding venue. This building was established in 1900 and is found on the National Register of Historic Places. It was designed by famed architectural firm McKim, Mead & White, who also designed the Boston Public Library and New York City's iconic Washington Square Arch. Their signature grand style is apparent throughout, from the white marble interior to carved colonnades. The walls are further adorned with bronze grillwork. Engagement parties, pre-wedding showers, and rehearsal dinners can also be hosted here.

Located on the corner of Warren Ave. and John R St. in Midtown, the Michigan Science Center is one of several nonprofit organizations in Detroit’s cultural district. With live stage shows, an IMAX® Dome, a 4D theater, a Planetarium, an 8,700 square foot special exhibit hall, and 220+ interactive exhibits, the Science Center has a lot to offer children and adults alike. We are always looking to host new and exciting events! From strolling tastes to seated dining, our preferred caterers can do it all. Events can start with appetizers and open bar then flow into our Lunar Gallery for a meal amongst the rocket ships. Clients work directly with the caterer for food choice and payment.
