The endless valley of lush green space includes an elegant banquet hall and a team of talented staff to give couples the wedding of their dreams. Fox Ridge is a premier 18-hole golf course just seven miles away from the city of Cedar Falls. Engaged couples are welcome to spend milestones on their journey to married life on the site, from wedding showers to the after-dinner party. The banquet room on location has over 8,000 square feet of space available for both the ceremony and reception. Glassware, flatware, white linens, and chair covers will be available to you, and staff will work to accommodate any special requests. All catering is done on site, and has a variety of options to choose from. A team of skilled bartenders will provide you and your guests with delicious wine and cocktails, whether you want an open, limited, or cash bar. While eight different beer selections are always on tap, the staff can provide hosted or specialty kegs to keep the suds flowing.

Since our origin on October 12, 1894, the Waterloo Elks Lodge 290 has established itself as a charitable organization throughout our long and prestigious history. By incorporating the four stations of fidelity, brotherly love, charity and justice, the Waterloo Elks have played and will continue to play an active role in the community and Elkdom. As a nonprofit, all money we raise supports veterans, youth and community. The Elks purchased this property in 1917 from the Julian Richards estate. The building was one of the finest oil residences in the city, being well-constructed and large enough to accommodate the lodge temporarily. The building was remodeled to accommodate a ballroom; members bar and card room and billiard room. In the basement there were four bowling alleys, a gymnasium, grill, kitchen and serving pantry, along with showers, lockers and the boiler rooms. The building was dedicated with a cornerstone in 1924, the year the Elks started using it as their Lodge.
