The Barns at Edgemont Inn was the perfect rustic and cozy setting for our wedding. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly accommodating and thoughtful, going above and beyond to ensure our special day ran smoothly. One of the bartenders even stepped up as an informal day-of coordinator, staying by our side throughout the event to handle any last-minute needs. The inclusive atmosphere allowed all of our guests to feel welcomed and comfortable. During the planning process they provided multiple options for table arrangements, arbor options and arbor placements, as well as options for dinnerware, glassware and silverware! Our group of country boys were pleased with their yard games and were playing corn hole all day! We were thrilled with the exceptional service and value provided by The Barns at Edgemont Inn, and would highly recommend them to any couple looking for a charming, stress-free wedding experience.

Groton, VT
  • Up to 150 guests

  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $3,300

The Old Scott Barn truly is a venue like no other! Although the 1800s barn is fully restored, we made every effort to keep the original dairy barn features intact. The upstairs hay loft has a spectacular view of Signal Mountain which you will enjoy as you dance on the new wood floors beneath the old hay trolley above you. When you descend the wrap around stair case and enter the old milking parlor downstairs, you will see a stunning 30 foot live edge wood bar and new 20" wide pine flooring nestled in among the old cow stanchions and milking hardware. It is a unique Vermont experience and the perfect setting for your special party. The downstairs is fully winterized and available for small winter weddings and parties.

We loved having our wedding at The Old Scott Barn! The venue is absolutely gorgeous with its rustic barn features and beautiful grounds for photos. Martin, the owner, was very responsive throughout the planning process and made sure we had everything we needed on the big day. He was there during setup, checking in to ensure things were going smoothly. The value is fantastic for such a lovely, well-maintained venue. We had our September 2024 wedding at FF and let me tell you, this place and these owners are special. Farmhouse Flowers was the first and only venue we looked at. From the beginning, Thomas (co-owner) was so patient with all of our questions. We immediately got the sense that he cared about us and our event. He even gave us suggestions for how we should word certain things when speaking to different venues! Working with the FF team in the months leading up to your wedding is stress free. They get everything organized and set up for your event far in advance and are so easy to work with. They are flexible and are willing to do anything they can to make your event perfect. In the week leading up to our event, Bridget (co-owner) went into labor and had a baby. She was literally at the venue the NEXT DAY setting up flowers to make sure our event was on track. They showed no signs of stress and just continued to blow us away. The day before our wedding, Thomas was at the property assisting us with anything and everything. The only word I can use to describe our wedding day is perfect. The entire property comes together to create such a beautiful environment for the wedding party and the guests. The house on the property is perfect for getting ready or for providing lodgings for vendors. The ceremony spot is STUNNING, it overlooks fields of beautiful flowers, the barn, and beautiful Vermont landscapes. Our reception was such a hit. There are so many things for guests to do throughout the day. They can play with cutie animals, sit by the pond, enjoy the firepit, stroll through the garden, play cornhole, or dance the night away. If you are looking for a rustic New England vibe wedding, look no further. This venue and the owners will make your wedding day absolutely unforgettable.

  • Starts at $4,000

We are a very laid back team of husband and wife running his family's 6th generation family farm. We are rustic but also a charming, authentic Vermont experience. The barn can become incredibly elegant for a more formal affair but can also look just perfect with some simple, personal accents. Some of the great things that people love about our venue is our relaxed vibe, we are a BYOB facility and we allow any and all outside vendors. We can house up to 50 guests in the 4 houses that are available on our property. We also allow camping anywhere on the 350 acre property and we have an awesome "glamping site" available for rent as well. We are a weekend rental with the ability to add on days before and after the event to prepare and to relax after. We also have no curfews and encourage you and your guests to party in the barn or around the firepit all night long.

Jen was amazing to work with! She was every brides dream. Any question or concern she’d answer within minutes and either text or have a quick call. She never made me feel anxious for reaching out and was incredibly patient. The day of the wedding she went above and beyond to help. We had our rehearsal party there as well and she even helped us set up for that. She made sure that everything was going to run smoothly for our big day and it did! The property is gorgeous and we had complements on how unique the venue was! If I was going to get married again, I’d go to stickney farms!!

The Tillerman Inn & Restaurant

5.0

Bristol, VT
  • Up to 160 guests
  • Select services
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $20,750

At The Tillerman, we like to make people feel at home. We are an inn, restaurant and event space restored and reimagined from its 1790’s bones and we’re all about the small, meaningful details that create sense of place. When folks leave here they feel like they have had an experience that feeds the soul. Our food is impeccably sourced from local farms, producers, vendors, makers and ranchers. We are entirely committed to quality and keeping our food simple and rustic. We want our guests to feel like they're going to a big dinner party at their friend’s house who also happens to be the best cook and host they know. Our vibe is old New England meets northern California meets a flower market meets a farmers market meets a warm, vibrant community. Everyone is welcome at The Tillerman. We are inclusive of all races, disabilities, ages, sexual orientations, religions, languages… We love love, and we’d love to meet you!

Planning our microwedding at the Tillerman was such a lovely and low-stress experience, and our wedding day could not have been more perfect. We were able to customize our day to be uniquely ours, without being overwhelmed with choices or having to book extra vendors. The Barn at the Tillerman is such a beautiful venue for a reception, the fire pit was a huge hit with our guests, and it was so nice to walk back to our room in the inn, exhausted, and fall into the most comfortable bed with lovely linens. We left the menu and dessert menus completely up to the Tillerman and were blown away by the quality and quantity of fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented food. We customized our bar offerings, decided on a long family style table set-up, and left the rest up to the Tillerman. Kenzie was amazing, supportive and prompt in every way, and was how we knew a microwedding at the Tillerman was right for us. We envisioned a romantic and whimsical day of celebration with our closest friends and family and the Tillerman delivered, keeping the entire experience stress free and for a very reasonable cost. Thank you so much to Kenzie, Kate and Jason, Kelsey, and the entire staff at the Tillerman for giving us the best wedding day.

The Barn at Smugglers’ Notch was truly a DREAM wedding venue! From the moment we first saw it, we knew it was the perfect place for our wedding. We celebrated our marriage (actually on our first anniversary) on 9/28/2024, and over the span of almost 2 years of planning, Jenn, Jamie and Steve were wonderful to work with. They accommodated us visiting several times after booking to see more details and ask questions. As we got closer to our wedding date, Jamie worked with us to develop our timeline full of so many details. They were so welcoming of us and our family, allowing my brother, a pastry chef & restaurant owner, to build the wedding cake on site the day of the wedding. Jenn was there with a smiling face and coffee ready for our early morning start. And Jamie set up everything so beautifully, including all of our decor that was very intricate (my favorite being the most amazing bookshelf escort wall I made, using The Barn’s shelf out on the patio!) Jamie did a wonderful job keeping everyone on time and in the right place. When the shuttle went to the wrong pickup location, Jamie got it all figured out and even though we started the ceremony late because of it, we were able to make up some time and stay on schedule for the rest of the evening. Overall, we are beyond happy with our day! The weather and the foliage were perfect, and every single detail came together so beautifully. We can’t say thank you enough to the amazing team at The Barn, and would highly recommend having your dream Vermont wedding here!

Intervale Center

5.0

Burlington, VT
  • Up to 200 guests
  • Raw space
  • Indoor
  • Starts at $1,250

Located just a mile from downtown Burlington, the Intervale Center's renovated 1860s Community Barn offers a convenient, rustic, and picturesque setting for your special day. Say your “I do’s” in a quaint ceremony outside on the venue’s gorgeous green grounds surrounded by stunning trees, bushes, and of course, your happy loved ones.

I love the Intervale Center, it is so beautiful! I knew that by choosing to get married there in July, we could really cut back on our decorations and let the landscaped grounds really shine. This venue is very conveniently located to Burlington, VT, but doesn't feel like you're in a city. It feels quiet and somewhat secluded. The rental/site fee was very affordable (and what you pay goes to a good cause!) and their guide book/post-booking-brochure is really helpful. They provide tables and chairs which are probably ample if you are having a small shindig, though you will likely want to cover the tables as they are not very pretty! Or you can always rent tables and chairs at additional cost. Most of what they offer is very DIY, so get some friends together (we set up in less than an hour with our friends). Our wedding here was pretty low-key with about 40 guests, but I think this could work for more formal gatherings too. My top of mind words to describe it would be "Pretty, local, affordable".
