They dressed appropriately for our wedding theme and many of the guests at the Hawthorne Hotel wanted to take pictures with Karlea in her Twenties attire. We specialize in classic R&B in the tradition of Aretha Franklin, Sade, Earth Wind & Fire, Chaka Khan, Stevie Wonder, Bonnie Raitt, etc. But because of our extensive backgrounds our repertoire is actually quite broad and can include vocal & instrumental jazz, classic rock, blues , Latin, etc. We also play a lot of current hits. “Mark was extremely easy to work with! He communicated quickly, and was clear with expectations/information he needed from us. We really appreciated all of the pieces he managed during the event. He was able to mic up our officiant, guide the guests during our surprise scavenger hunt cocktail hour, he ran a super amusing Shoe Game (see pictures) and kept the formal dance with our parents short and sweet! Our venue was outdoors and we moved across the property over the evening, he came early to setup, and stayed late to say goodbye to us. Neither of us (the bride and groom) are big dancers, and we were worried our dance floor would be empty, but he played many hits that kept the guests happy and moving! We would definitely recommend him for your events!”
