One of the earliest U.S. Post Offices in North Carolina still stands strong today. It was a community where people gathered, shared news and good times. Built in 1874, the renovated original Cabin structure serves as a unique visual reminder of those simpler times. The Cabin and the Post Office are on the National Register of Historic Places. The vast scenic views of the North Carolina countryside along with the grandness of our 150 year old Oak trees do not go unnoticed, and at night, the stars light up the sky. Originally a furniture and dry goods store, the space evolved into a stockroom for Heilig-Levine Furniture Store. Restored by Empire Properties in 2005, it now serves as an event venue managed by neighboring restaurants Sitti and Gravy. Hosting parties, weddings, and events, it retains its historic charm with market lights and a rich heritage spanning nearly 150 years.

Trophy Brewing & Pizza can accommodate a variety of private events from rehearsal dinners and baby showers to networking events and company parties, suited for groups of 10-60 seated and up to 100 standing.
