Tivoli Student Union is a historically beautiful and unique building on the Auraria Campus. Built in 1870 by German-born Mortz Sigi, the Tivoli was originally part of the Colorado Brewery. In 1901 is became the Tivoli Union Brewery, named after the famous amusement park in Copenhagen. The Tivoli houses a variety of spaces that can accommodate groups both small and large for business meetings, training sessions, lectures, conferences, and a variety of social gatherings, from intimate celebrations to weddings. With its location being adjacent to downtown, historic appeal, easy accessibility and parking availability, the Auraria Campus is an ideal place to hold an event.

The oldest remaining structure in Denver’s iconic Union Station neighborhood, historic Hose House No. 1 was one of the first fire stations in Denver. This fire station preceded paid City of Denver fire departments and began as a volunteer fire station in 1881. Now, it has been lovingly restored and re-imagined as an iconic, inclusive kitchen and bar. Located in the heart of the newly thriving Union Station neighborhood, Woodie Fisher Kitchen & Bar is an icon for its history and legacy. In 2014, the Appaloosa Grill unveiled a 1,200-square-foot event and meeting space unlike any other in Denver’s Downtown Business District. In 2019, the Wright Room was expanded to 3,300 square feet, making it Denver’s premier gathering space for events and meetings of all types. The Wright Room is on the second story of the nine-story Denver Masonic Building. Erected in 1889, this historic structure was once a jewel in the crown of brewpub pioneer turned Colorado Governor John W. Hickenlooper. This particular mall crossing honors one of Denver’s founding fathers, Norton W. Welton. These mens’ shared middle name, Wright, was chosen as the Wright Room’s moniker.

It all started when a Groom called his Best Man in need of ideas for a back up plan when a rainy September day was threatening to ruin his bride’s backyard wedding…for 100 people. A former machine shop just became vacant, so the best man thought maybe it could work. It became clear the weather was not going to cooperate, so the plan went into effect. Within 48 hours, a makeshift wedding utilizing the brides, decor and tables, scrubbing up oil from the recent removal of machining equipment, and sister-in laws that stepped up to the plate to help a bride, and love parties and a good challenge, helped make the day a success. It was a lot of work, but a lot of fun bringing a warehouse to life! After a couple weeks of deliberation, we decided to jump in and make this place special. Here we are, seeing our vision come true, and providing Colorado Springs with a unique event hall to share and make memories.
