Nazareth Hall

5.0

Grand Rapids, OH
  • Up to 300 guests
  • All-inclusive
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $5,000

Nazareth Hall is known throughout the region as a banquet and wedding facility, but it’s the rich history and lush setting that draws people here. Built in 1927 as an all-boy Catholic boarding school. It eventually evolved into a renowned military school for boys. Throughout its history the school stayed true to its Catholic roots and the nuns who served and taught here. Operating until 1982 the stories written within its walls are still told today. Re-emerging with a new mission and purpose in April of 1991, Nazareth Hall was reborn. It is in this picturesque place, reminiscent of castles of old, that brides come to be married and celebrate with family and friends in grand ballrooms. The classrooms and meeting spaces offer the perfect vintage background for business training sessions, and the manicured lawns have been host to numerous parties and festivities.

Docks Beach House

Port Clinton, OH
  • Up to 250 guests
  • All-inclusive
  • Outdoor
  • Starts at $1,000

Docks Beach House is the perfect place to have your beach wedding right on the Lake Erie waterfront. This venue includes a pavilion that is located conveniently next to a beach front resort. Weekends are booking fast please call or email Chassey at 419-357-6247 or [email protected]

Chassey was awesome!! She was very kind and sweet. My husband and I booked the venue/pavilion 21 months prior to wedding date sight unseen based off her personality, customer service, pictures, cost and the fact that I wanted a beach wedding in Ohio. The months and days before the wedding, if we had any questions, comments or concerns, she responded in a reasonable amount of time. We went to visit the venue a year before the actual wedding (5/27/2024) so that we could get a visual of the area. The day of the wedding, Chassey and her team were very helpful, kind and courteous to myself, family, and friends. They helped us decorate the venue although we brought our own decorations. Everything was beautiful and ready before the start of the wedding. They made us feel very comfortable. They went above and beyond our expectations. We (family and friends included) will definitely be back to visit for vacation.

Stonebridge Golf Club was the perfect venue for our wedding. I worked at Stonebridge for 6 years and met my husband there, and I wanted nothing more than to get married at the beautiful venue. The staff was very easy to communicate with - Kim was always quick to respond and available whenever we had questions (even the silliest of questions). Kim and Jeff took care of everything we needed and made sure our day was exactly how we envisioned. The venue itself is beautiful, with indoor and outdoor spaces that provided a fun, open atmosphere for our guests. The tiki bar was a big hit! Justin, the chef was able to accommodate needs and made the best Swedish meatballs! Considering all that they handled for us and the quality of the venue, Stonebridge was a great value. They provide chairs/tables, linens, table settings, and all food and beverages making it an easy one stop shop. We would highly recommend them to any couple looking for a beautiful, accommodating venue and thoughtful staff for their special day.

Welcome to the Michigan League, the beautiful student union located on the north end of Central Campus. The League is known for its historic architecture, brilliant stained glass windows, and the charming Inn at the League which offers comfortable accommodations for visitors. Stop in between classes or to grab a bite at Maizie’s Kitchen & Market. If the weather is warm, be sure to snap a picture of Sunday Morning in Deep Waters (the famous fountain out front) or the spectacular courtyard garden.

We held our wedding reception at the Michigan League and overall had a wonderful experience. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous with a classic look that perfectly suited our wedding vision. The staff were very responsive throughout the planning process and provided thorough follow-up, which was much appreciated. Even when we switched event planners midway through, the League staff ensured the transition went smoothly. It was also incredibly convenient to have both our ceremony and reception in one venue. The only hiccup was that we couldn't hold our rehearsal in the League's ballroom or anywhere else on site. Luckily we were able to use our rehearsal dinner restaurant instead. Aside from that, the Michigan League was the perfect backdrop for our special day!

I never write reviews, but this place is the best kept secret in Michigan. I choose this place for the ambiance, but ended up loving it for the staff. I’ve worked in the restaurant business for almost 25 years, and I’ve never given nor received the level of service we received at Café Cortina. Kelley and Meg made my day forever memorable. The food was amazing. Everything was perfect. I truly felt like I was waited on hand and foot but ultimately the personalities of the staff made it incredible. Thanks Café Cortina!
