Brook grew up competing in gymnastics and track which lead to having her hair pulled up and back often. She began to braid her, and her teammates' hair and fell so in love with it that she even ended up doing some hair for others for homecoming and prom. When she realized college wasn't the path for her she decided to attend cosmetology school in 2015. Through her salon career thus far she has seen many sides of the industry and has always found herself the happiest when styling hair just like in her early days. Jo-hanna, the owner of JoHenna Design and commonly known as Joey, is best known for her intricate henna designs, paintings, and drawings. She has lived in Indianapolis most of her life and is a self-taught artist. Joey enjoys creating complex designs in many different mediums including: henna art, pen and ink drawings, acrylic paintings, watercolor paintings as well as decorating pillows, mugs, bags, shoes, etc. ​

It has been one of my greatest passions working in the Bridal Beauty industry for 14 years. I absolutely love getting to know my brides and learning what their inspiration bridal look is for their wedding day. All trials are held in Salon only prior to the wedding day.
