Henna by Heather
I love creating beautiful, custom wedding henna! From intricate, elaborate bridal mehndi designs to speedy, satisfying designs for guests, I love it all. I have studied Indian, North African, and Middle Eastern henna design in depth, and am happy to create designs in a broad range of strictly traditional styles, or to combine traditional patterns with more individualized, unique elements for a customized henna experience.
I have been creating henna designs since 1999, and travel internationally to provide henna services at destination weddings and teach workshops at henna artist conferences. My love of henna comes from a combination of loving both the beautifully detailed art form itself and also the rich traditions surrounding its use in important celebrations... like weddings!

Wedding Henna - All-inclusive Day Rate

Our signature wedding package covers intricate, customized bridal mehndi, extra special designs for the close family and bridal party, as well as henna for your guests. We are happy to accommodate any size wedding and any style of bridal henna intricacy that best suits your vision. When you book our Day Rate Wedding Henna package, your artist will be working exclusively with you for the day, and can structure their artistic services to perfectly compliment your vision for your event.

Our busiest days of the week by far are Fridays and Saturdays. Does your wedding allow you to do your henna on a Thursday or Sunday? We will be very happy to extend this discount to you!

Such a pleasure to work with Heather!
Heather is truly a professional, in every way. I enjoyed working with her because once I engaged her services I didn't have to give it another thought - she took care of everything and was so calm, organized, and thoughtful! The designs were absolutely exquisite and so beautifully done. She's an artist, and her work really makes a big impression. I highly recommend her!

I'd first met Heather at a Rhode Island PrideFest, and instantly saw how much talent she had. Every piece she did looked amazing, her precision was immaculate. I went to her several times over the years, and when my now wife and I began planning our wedding, I brought up the idea of having wedding henna done. My wife agreed, and I knew immediately that I needed to contact Heather. We met up with her at a nearby farm where she was holding a henna event, and she sat with us discussing what we would like done for the wedding for probably a half-hour or so. She sketched design ideas out, which we loved, and made a contract right then and there. Our wedding henna was stunning. We received so many compliments on it that night, and repeatedly after as it lasted beautifully for quite some time. We still get comments if someone sees wedding photos. Throughout the entire process, Heather was a dream to work with. Very kind and professional, she is exactly the caring presence a stressed bride-to-be needs.
