The back of the farm has a small, rustic barn that has been converted for use as a intimate ceremony and can accommodate several people or a covered area for serving food, cake table, and gifts area. Couples are welcome to hang photos and decorate the barn to their liking. There is ample room for tents to accommodate DJ services, dance floor, caterers, etc. The lower section of the property is meticulously maintained and has a built-in stone grill and a large fire pit that couples are welcome to use. Ample parking is available. Power is available via generator to power lights, music, etc. We're happy to work with couples or wedding planners to make your big day unique and stress-free.

Apple Ridge Farm is a non-profit venue, nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Coper Hill, VA that is perfect for your rustic wedding dreams. 100% of the proceeds from your wedding goes directly to sending children to camp each summer. Our wedding packages include the use of three buildings on property: the Spangler Pavilion, the Meador building and our restored dairy barn, Porterfield. There is nothing more romantic than a beautiful wedding in a countryside setting! Family-owned and operated, we have hosted weddings, receptions and other special events since 1995. Reservations include private use of all grounds and facilities - we only host one wedding at a time. Garden chairs, banquet tables, tablecloths in a variety of colors and choice of two centerpiece styles are included. Rates are based on day of the week, month and services. May, June, September, October and December are considered on-peak. Friday and Saturday are considered on-peak. Rates vary from $3100 for an outdoor garden wedding and reception to $7900 for a full weekend of services including overnight. Elopement packages are available for 2-10 guests and include officiant, wedding cake and toast. Inquire for $. The Farmhouse at Rosa Lee Manor is a recently restored house which is rustic and suitable for 2-4 guests overnight. It's a wooded setting ideal for very small elopement ceremonies.

Our venue at the Science Museum of Western Virginia has 2 floors that you can utilize or rent out one floor for the event. Our space is does not include a caterer but we can offer suggestions to use in the area. We can also obtain a license for liquor, wine and beer. The space can include multiple different exhibits so your guests can play some games and socialize during the event.
