Nesselrod on the New is a 13-acre estate in the heart of the New River Valley. Overlooking the historic New River, Nesselrod offers the perfect combination of privacy while being minutes from everything you would need. Built in 1939, the house features a cozy Bed & Breakfast and several outdoor venues to host your wedding. Nesselrod on the New has several advantages compared to other wedding venues. We offer rooms for the wedding party and/or family to stay in, we are located close to restaurants, stores, golf courses, and Universities. Sinkland Farms is a wedding venue located in Christiansburg, Virginia. Beginning as a dairy farm, this pastoral paradise has since been transformed into a premier events space by Susan Sink and her family. There is nothing more romantic than a beautiful wedding in a countryside setting! Family-owned and operated, we have hosted weddings, receptions and other special events since 1995. We have a wedding package for almost any budget. Rates are based on day of the week, month and services. May, June, September, October and December are considered on-peak. Friday and Saturday are considered on-peak. Rates vary from $2500 for an outdoor garden wedding and reception to $6900 for a full weekend of services including overnight. Elopement packages are available for 2-10 guests and include officiant, wedding cake and toast. Inquire for $. The Farmhouse at Rosa Lee Manor is a recently restored house which is rustic and suitable for 2-4 guests overnight. It's a wooded setting ideal for very small elopement ceremonies.

We're a family-owned working farm located in New Castle, VA about 20 minutes from Roanoke. We have >100 acres of pristine land that backs up to National Forest land. The back of the farm has a small, rustic barn that has been converted for use as a intimate ceremony and can accommodate several people or a covered area for serving food, cake table, and gifts area. Couples are welcome to hang photos and decorate the barn to their liking. There is ample room for tents to accommodate DJ services, dance floor, caterers, etc. The lower section of the property is meticulously maintained and has a built-in stone grill and a large fire pit that couples are welcome to use. Ample parking is available. Power is available via generator to power lights, music, etc. We're happy to work with couples or wedding planners to make your big day unique and stress-free.

Original wood beams and early American antiques welcome guests to experience life a little simpler. Surrounded by 60-acres of vineyards, a 2-acre fishing pond, and a walking trail winding alongside the Grassy Creek, days can be filled with discovering what the Appalachian nature has to offer, or cozied up with a book or game of chess next to a roaring fire in the original 1920’s hearths.

Nestled on 195 acres, Whispering Ridge Farms is a luxury barn-style event venue located in the Appalachian foothills near Elkin, NC. We are a working hay, corn, and flower farm with beautiful mountain views. Local hotel accommodations are only 15 minutes away!

Our venue at the Science Museum of Western Virginia has 2 floors that you can utilize or rent out one floor for the event. Our space is does not include a caterer but we can offer suggestions to use in the area. We can also obtain a license for liquor, wine and beer. The space can include multiple different exhibits so your guests can play some games and socialize during the event.
