“We were so pleased with our wedding at Stroudsmoor Country Inn. The venue staff were friendly, responded to emails and calls in a very timely manner, and kept communications concise and helpful leading up to the big day. For the Poconos area, we found Stroudsmoor to be very affordable for both the ceremony and reception. The food was fantastic - all of our guests raved about it! The servers were also excellent, very professional and attentive throughout the evening. We couldn't have asked for a better venue to host our special day. From the beautiful grounds to the delicious food to the wonderful staff, Stroudsmoor really helped make our wedding reception a huge success.”

The Barn was purchased in 2008 and the couple quickly went to work transforming the building which had recently been an art gallery into the premier catering facility that it has become. Located at 737 W Fort McClure Blvd in Bloomsburg, the property provides privacy and seclusion for its guests but is only a few minutes away from hotels and downtown Bloomsburg. The Barn features a huge second story deck that wraps around half the building; it provides a wonderful space for guests during the warmer months.

“The Barn at Boones Dam was a wonderful venue for our wedding. Communication with the staff was easy, quick, and knowledgeable which made planning very smooth. The barn itself is a beautiful, clean space that provided the perfect backdrop for our big day. They kept everything running on time and made sure we were well fed. The staff was also very flexible in accommodating some last minute changes we had to make. Our venue is designed to provide you with a once in a lifetime experience. Our grounds are maintained to capture the beautiful natural scenery provided by the Susquehanna River. We offer over 2 acres of open space to facilitate both your wedding and reception. There are many Airbnbs within walking distance as well as a campground with cabins for guest lodging. This is an outdoor space, so tents are recommended (currently not included).
