The Lawn Haven at the Stroudmoor
The Stroudmoor is a beautiful venue with the pituresque backdrop of rolling hills of Northern Pennsylvania. My wife and I settled on having our wedding at the Lawnhaven one of the multiple venue options at the Stroudmoor. Malia and her team made all of the prepartion and planning leading up to the wedding far less complicated than i thought it would be. Furthermore they continue to guide us through all the steps even working with us as we lived out of state. Honestly though, the WOW Factor didnt really sink in until the big day. Our bridal attendant was a super women. Her anticipation of our needs and magical ability to appear a the perfect moment with all of the attention to detail was more than we could have ever asked for. We arte incredibly greatful to all those involved in making our special day even that much more special.
A Whimsical Woodland Wedding
When I was looking for a woodsy venue to get married at on the east coast, I stumbled upon Woodsgate at Stroudsmoor and it immediately stood out to me! We could get married surrounded by trees, with the ease of an all inclusive reception a short walk away. When we visited and saw the woodland chapel, even in the middle of winter, my breath was taken away and I wanted to cry because of how perfect and beautiful it is. It’s very secluded and has a lit-up walk to the ceremony site up an adorable path, and the reception hall has a cozy homey feel, while being straight out of a fantasy novel. We didn’t need much floral decor because of how beautiful everything is already, but the floral we did get was the perfect finishing touch, and I’m still obsessing over my bouquet. Aside from the gorgeous fairytale setting, the service was phenomenal and both our planner, Malia, and the staff were there to see to all our needs and make the day as stress-free and easygoing as possible. Malia was always quick to answer any questions, and was very willing to bring our unconventional ideas like Rock Band karaoke at the reception to life. Sometimes with all-inclusive venues you’re limited with customizing the wedding but that was not at all the case with Stroudsmoor. Everyone was so kind, professional, and our guests raved about the incredible food and service. I couldn’t imagine getting married at a more perfect place, and highly recommend this to anyone looking to have their own whimsical woodland wedding!!
Wedding planning and night stay
Stroudsmoor Country Inn was an exceptional choice for our wedding venue. From the very beginning, their communication was nice, quick, easy and reliable, which made the planning process a breeze. On the day of, the staff was incredibly helpful - one staff member even assisted me with my dress and bustling it up, which made getting ready much easier. Our wedding planner was also awesome and exceptional throughout the entire process. The quality of their work and value was fantastic, with very clean facilities, delicious food, and a friendly, professional staff that ensured our wedding day ran smoothly and comfortably. We and all our guests had everything we needed for a wonderful, memorable celebration. I would highly recommend Stroudsmoor Country Inn to any couple looking for a beautiful, well-run wedding venue.
A Perfect Day
We chose the Stroudsmoor Country Inn Lawnhaven's venue for our wedding. It is a beautiful setting and easy to access for any guests with mobility problems. Our wedding planner, Malia Kasperkevic, was professional, informative and so helpful to us when we were choosing an officiant, photographer, and DJ. We stayed at the Inn the night before the wedding and the night of it. On our wedding eve, we were treated to a surprise, private champagne dinner, thanks to Malia's request. We then retired to our cozy room at the main Inn. We selected Journeys of the Heart's Susanne Wilson for our officiant, initially meeting with her to discuss our preferences, then communicating by email to help her create the ceremony that we wished from readings that she provided. Our guests remarked on how inclusive and thoughtful she was. For our photographer and DJ, we hired Frankie Carll Productions. We first met with Mr. Carll to review our music choices, and he selected Corey for our photographer and Ricky for our DJ. Both were professional, personable and fun. Corey made us feel at ease through our photo shoots. Ricky got everyone up and dancing, and also played all of our requests. The hors d'oeuvre were spectacular, and the dinners and cake were delicious and beautifully presented. The servers and bartenders were attentive and considerate of any special needs or requests made by our guests. Our floral arrangements were lovely, and the centerpiece flowers were able to be taken home by our guests. The colors of my bouquet and the groom's boutonniere were matched by the ones in our centerpieces. I used the Stroudsmoor's salon for my hair and makeup. Gina did a terrific job incorporating my baby's breath headpiece into my styled hair and made me up in an understated fashion as suited me very well.
