Your Fairytale Castle Wedding
Hold a grand wedding reception in Stroudsmoor’s premiere facility accommodating 175 to 350 guests. Terraview offers you the royal wedding of your dreams with the façade of a stone castle. Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres are served in the lounge and Conservatory overlooking the Terraview garden.

The dining room features 22’ peaked ceilings complete with special lighting, 16’ windows for spectacular views, and a 32’ bandshell with a “clubbing area” to ensure the dancing never stops.

Woodsgate is a 200-year old barn – restored with a rustic-chic vibe. Built of stone, slate, and oak beams, the cocktail area features comfortable seating, fireplace, and chandeliers artfully made of branches from the Inn’s fallen trees. Both of these unique, rustic wedding ceremony sites at Woodsgate offers space that graciously accommodates 75 to 150 guests. Our reception hall is crafted from a centuries-old barn. Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres are served in the lower level of the building. Dinner and dancing follow on the upper level where grapevine and lights highlight the dance floor and grand windows surrounding the room offer a view into the woods.

The pavilion at Lawnhaven provides a perfect secondary option to eliminate the worries of inclement weather and comes complete with a cozy fireplace, stone bar, and casual outdoor seating. It is situated on a terraced lawn between Stroudsmoor’s Main Inn and the Cabins on the Commons. Its footprint creates a complete circle, forming an open-air arena surrounded by lush evergreen gardens for total privacy.

Lawnhaven’s exquisitely appointed Evergreen Garden provides the perfect site for your ceremony. Complete with a stone gazebo, fire columns, and a three-tier water feature. The wedding ceremony is celebrated on one of two grand lawns. An event at Lawnhaven requires a minimum of 75 guests, while it graciously accommodates a maximum of 150 for a traditional served meal; 200 for a cocktail reception.
SCI Pavilion
Enchanting Outdoor Ceremony Site
The wedding ceremony is orchestrated under towering black walnut trees, surrounded by the woods and fields of wildflowers. Open to the sky above or under custom tenting, are among the options available for your celebration at the Pavilion. The Pavilion will graciously accommodate 50 to 110 guests for grazing-style receptions with tailored-to-your-taste buffet menu options.

Wedding Review
What is there to say! Five stars is simply not enough! Well for starters we just had our wedding at the Terraview on 10.19.24 and it was absolutely INCREDIBLE! There are simply not enough words to describe this venue and this entire atmosphere as well as planning process. Our coordinator was Barbara and she was fantastic. The entire year leading up to our wedding. There was nothing but amazing communication and help at every turn. They make the planning process for your event or wedding so easy and we were so grateful since we honestly had no idea where to begin. Everything was amazing on the day of and was perfect to beginning to end. There is not a thing that we would have changed about our wedding. From the decorations to the florals to the food, there was no detail left out. If you are looking for a truly unique and beautiful wedding or event space, I highly recommend this venue. The details of our day were so intimate and so carefully thought out by the entire team that we had working with us. We worked with the floral department and the bakery and the kitchen to create an amazing day. The transparency is second to none and we are forever grateful. They also have an on-site beauty studio where your hair makeup can get done and they were also fantastic to work with! Gina and her girls are truly talented and made my entire bridal party look stunning. My day of bridal attendant was Belkis and she is absolutely amazing. There was not one thing that we had questions on that she could not handle. She made sure that all the girls were eating. She made sure that I as the bride ate and was hydrated. She made everybody make sure that their dresses were perfect and during the getting ready portion, she was there for us 110% of the time helping with photos. Making sure that every detail on my dress was perfect. There are not enough words for her and I am profoundly grateful. After the ceremony, she insured that we had a drink in our hands and made sure that we were eating during our reception. She made sure that we were eating and brought us water on the dance floor and drinks on the dance floor and was just always at our side ready to help us. She is definitely an asset to this venue in so many ways. It is also close to the Scranton airport if you have guest coming from farther away. They have different venues on site (different sizes and styles) and it’s one event per day at each so you aren’t dealing with other parties. It is absolutely gorgeous. The ceremony sites are outdoors with gorgeous views and the reception rooms are beautiful. It is a family business and you do truly feel like family while working with them. I cannot say enough great things! It’s close to many hotels so getting blocks wasn’t an issue. You also get some rooms on site. You also get a wedding coordinator and a day or person who is well aware of you needs and wants! Our day was absolutely perfect beginning to end! They make it so easy to plan and stress free! Food was absolutely amazing and my guests have been raving since! I had a cocktail reception which I highly recommend exploring! They have their own full bakery so all desserts were also made by them! We are truly grateful for the entire team at the Stroudsmoor, who made our wedding day unforgettable and a day that our guests will talk about forever. This place is truly a hidden gem in the Poconos! Thank you so much everyone!
The best night of our lives.
My husband and I got married at Ridgecrest on Oct 25th, 2024 and there are truly no words to describe how unbelievable our day was… but I will try :) The weather was perfect and that venue is stunning so there was no way that our wedding couldn’t have been amazing, but the Stroudsmoor staff were absolutely exceptional. We had the privilege of having Kaylie as our Event Planner and she was the absolute best. She was so helpful and responsive throughout the entire planning process and couldn’t have made it more stress-free. We used an outside Florist for flowers but worked with Grayson for ceiling drapery, linens and table numbers, and same thing - she was fantastic, and coordinating with her couldn’t have been easier. I was also blown away by how amazing the day-of staff were. Margie & Kerry specifically were unbelievably amazing. The kindest yet most hard-working women in the room. Both of them, as well as all of the rest of the staff that I spoke to, genuinely seemed happy to be there. They were friendly and efficient and everyone was raving about how good the food and drinks were all night. I always dreamed of an amazing wedding and it’s easy to set your exceptions too high but my wedding was truly better than I ever could have imagined. We would relive that day forever and I will be depressed for the next year. 1000/10 recommend. I can’t imagine a better venue or company to work with, and they will all always have a special place in our hearts.
Stroudsmoor Country Inn
Our daughter was married at the beautiful Woodsgate location. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and we wouldn’t change anything. The food was delicious and abundant. The entire day ran smoothly thanks to Barbara’s impeccable planning.
Perfect day
My husband and I were married on October 5th 2024 at the Lawnhaven Venue. The venue itself was amazing, the day flowed smoothly and the whole team worked as a well oiled machine. Belkis in particular was an absolute godsend. Belkis is sweet, caring and calming, keeping everything and everyone on track. She was a dream assistant, ensuring that my bridal party, groomsmen, family, husband and I were well hydrated, well fed, comfortable and cool the whole night. She was somehow everywhere at once. I cannot praise her enough. She helped a guest when their dress strap broke. She beautifully bustled my long lace dress in what seemed like seconds, and it held up all night on the dance floor. The whole day was perfect, and truly felt like a dream.
