Timbers at the Mill is an absolutely beautiful and historic wedding venue located in Canton, Georgia. We are in the highly sought-after development of The Mill on Etowah. The Mill is a 100-year-old cotton mill that was recently revitalized with a focus on keeping the feel and history of the original buildings. Where you say “I do” overlooks the South Cumberland State Park and breathtaking mountain views. We are located on 8 private acres that has two waterfalls! You get access to a beautiful bluff view that makes wonderful photos! We provide plenty of parking, electricity on the bluff, white doors that you walk through, and a traditional or geometric arbor. Our venue package includes the entire weekend where you check in on Friday and check out on Sunday, giving you two nights and three days to relax and have a stress-free wedding. Also, if you prefer to have your wedding on a different day than Saturday, we are flexible in adjusting your big day so you will still get the 2 nights / 3 days with us. You will be staying in our rustic and romantic honeymoon log cabin suite filled with antiques from Yorkshire, England.

The property where the church is located was purchased in May of 1886 as the First Ave Methodist - Episcopal Church. The bell tower was donated and built in 1888, with a bell brought from a foundry in Boston.
