I started in the wedding industry as my first job when i was 15 and my love for all things floral & weddings started then. There, I would frequently compete against other high schools & received my Level 1 & 2 certifications by the TSFA. I founded La Fuente de Flores in 2019 & have rebranded as Monarch & Marigold Studio. I'm also a hobby flower grower so quite literally, I'm always surrounded by flowers.

Woodsy Floral started by accident believe it or not. Flowers have always been a part of my husband and I’s marriage. Every Friday or every other Friday my husband, Lonnie would go get fresh stems from the floral shop down the road from our house. With crazy looks he grabbed them.
