Hi, I’m Kelsey! I am a wedding photographer! I am obsessed with dogs. I will never not acknowledge a dog near me by saying “puppers”. It is what it is. I would 100% rather be on the beach somewhere with palm trees. I am constantly daydreaming about being in the tropics. I love the color black. If we work together, there is a high chance that will be my outfit color of choice.

I started Ampersand Photography in 2022, but I’m not new to the scene. I’ve been in the wedding photography industry for 8 years as a second shooter and offering limited packages on my own. I also offer family portraits, head shots, milestone sessions, boudoir, senior portraits and more. I love audiobooks, potatoes in all forms (including raw), playing games, peanut butter, ice cream, dogs, and truly just being around people. I love listening to others' stories. I love grandparents. Lindsay Stayton began her career in the photography industry in 2008. Her first gig was photographing The Worlds Largest Music Festival, Summerfest. In 2010, Lindsay was asked to photographed her first wedding after a couple stated "If you can photograph Flava Flave, then you can most definitely photograph our wedding!" Most couples have requested Lindsay to continue capturing life’s candid moments for their growing families, which led to her tag line: “Your Family Historian”. Lindsay has a distinct and unique style which captures real human emotion and candid moments.

My photography business was born in sunny San Diego, but a new adventure has led me to the midwest! I currently live in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with my wife, our two cats, Nesta and Zinnia, and our dog, Clementine. I studied Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavior at UC Davis and went on to my Masters at UCSD in Healthcare Administration. Through all of this professional development, photography has been my constant and my creative outlet. I have been capturing moments for the past six years. To me, photography is a practice and a ritual. I am inspired by emotion, movement and adventure. I can't wait to meet you and capture your adventures.

I have a passion for travel and I love meeting new people and hearing their crazy (or not so crazy) stories. I love trying new things and walking around a new city until my feet bleed (that's literally happened...still love you tho, NYC). I'm a major extrovert, but I have a great appreciation for the little things in life. You'll likely find me sipping some strong coffee at a local café or snuggled up on the couch with some wine, pizza, and my husband on a rainy day. With a camera in hand, I am probably the most annoying person to travel with, stopping every ten feet to take a picture. Sorry not sorry.
