Hi! I'm Emma, owner and lead photographer of Emma Mullins Photography. Our goal is simple: to capture your vibe, your people, and your love in a way that looks and feels true to life. We're wrapping up our 11th Chicago wedding season, and it's been a whirlwind of all things real and fabulous! We are super excited to offer FILM photography services to our awesome couples this year!!
My hands-off, documentary approach allows couples to feel totally comfortable in front of the camera (it's the number one thing mentioned in my Reviews!). Expect a mix of candid moments and contemporary portraiture while still being able to enjoy time with your guests. Best experience!
Emma Mullins Photography was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding day. From the very first conversation, Emma and her team were responsive, friendly, organized, and professional. They made us feel comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera, helping us capture beautiful, personal moments that we'll treasure forever. Emma worked closely with us to document special details like a family heirloom handkerchief and a rabbit in the grass near our first look, as well as some fun, silly photos at the end of the night. The quality of her work was truly stunning - the photos are beautiful and perfectly capture the essence of our special day. We couldn't have asked for a better photography experience and would highly recommend Emma Mullins Photography to any couple planning their wedding.

Emma is the absolute best and we cannot recommend her enough! We worked with her for our engagement and wedding photos and had the best experience. We initially found Emma through a recommendation from our venue. After our first call, we knew we wanted to work with her. My husband and I were nervous about taking photos, but Emma immediately put us at ease and we ended up having a great time at our engagement shoot. The photos turned out absolutely stunning and reflect us as a couple. Our wedding was no different with Emma capturing the most gorgeous photos, while still ensuring everyone was having fun! We absolutely loved working with Emma and highly recommend her! We were lucky that Emma was visiting the San Francisco Bay Area for another shoot and could add on our elopement in City Hall. We were impressed with her professionalism, and she went above and beyond in scoping out the place beforehand and thoughtfully planning out a schedule (with backup plans!) for the day. She has a vision but very much listens to what you want from the day (e.g. we wanted more candid shots). Having never shot at the location before, and working with a rainy day, she captured some of the most beautiful wedding photos ever! Us and our family had never taken professional photographs before, and Emma was so friendly and approachable, she made us feel at ease and captured our best selves (including a wriggly baby!). She was communicative and quick to respond to emails throughout the whole process. If you're looking for a fun, flexible, and professional photographer who can capture your unique moments, we can't recommend Emma enough!
