Living my best life in suburban Maryland. I love art and being creative, so photography just seemed like the next step after being an actor for 15 years. Storytelling is a HUGE part of my life- whether it’s sitting around the dinner table recounting funny memories or looking at old photographs of my own family. Some of the best stories in the world were told without words. I am a D&D, gaming, and SQL nerd, I have a newfound love of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and I am a proud plant mom. Never been married before? I'm here to hold your hand.
I love working directly with my couples to make them feel comfortable throughout the wedding process. I’m completely transparent when it comes to budget, timeline, and resources. I want to make sure that what you see is what you get! You don't need to worry about anything when you book with me. My experience in events makes me uniquely prepared for any situation and gives me an edge on anticipating needs throughout the wedding day.

We are so lucky!
We honestly feel so lucky to have booked Laura; she was just the perfect fit for our wedding. She has a true gift for bringing the candid smiles out of people, and made the experience easy, fun, and memorable. There's no, "I feel awkward in front of a camera" with Laura--she makes everyone feel so comfortable and confident. If you want to feel like a partner in your own wedding's photo journey, then Laura is the perfect choice. We were beyond pleased with how all of our photos came out, and hope to work with her again someday for other milestones!
Laura is literally perfect
There are not enough words to describe how grateful we are to Laura. She’s the perfect photographer for our day and would be the perfect photographer for anyone and everyone. We have a rowdy bunch and she could hang while keeping everyone organized. She’s part of the reason our wedding day ran AHEAD of schedule which is basically unheard of. The pictures are phenomenal and everything I wanted. She let us add on extra time basically day of cause we ended up deciding we needed her for way longer than contracted. She’s professional when needed but it also feels like you’re working with a friend. Me and my husband are not comfortable in front of a camera but she was our hype man and made us look amazing. This review doesn’t even scratch the surface of how much I recommend Laura. But just do it. For real. Laura we miss u can’t wait to see you for the maternity photos in a few years!
PERFECTION!
Having Laura as our photographer was easily one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day! She is the kindest, most creative, understanding, detail-oriented, and dedicated human, and her professionalism is beyond compare. She made our day seamless, and we had a ROLLERCOASTER with a downpour of rain, a fallen power line and an emergency back up location switch that involved walking through a woodland path in Maine in the mud. She never wavered, and made everything seem like it was her plan in the first place! She even took extra time to look at our venue in advance of the day which was above and beyond what was expected of her. If you are thinking of hiring her, GET IN WHILE YOU CAN!!!!
Our Absolute Favorite
Laura photographed out January wedding and absolutely KILLED IT! We had used another photographer for our engagement photos and just weren’t vibing with her, and after our first call with Laura I felt so calm and so trusting that she was the perfect person to photograph our day! Laura is professional, organized, talented and was truly a joy to spend our wedding day with. I would recommend her to anyone for any event big or small.
