We are a family built and run business that has been in operation for over 12 years! The Pavilion was designed and built by our owner, Nancy Barger, and her dad. It's situated on her family farm and overlooks Bluegrass Lake, which is right in the heart of Knoxville! While you may only be 15 minutes from downtown, and just right off of Northshore Dr, The Pavilion offers a quiet escape on the water. Our ceremony site is surrounded by trees and looks out onto the lake, giving our ceremonies a private, natural, feeling. We are well known for our beach, which expands a large part of our front yard! Duck Pond Manor was originally known as the England Mansion. The mansion’s building process began in 1861(according to family stories). The house was finally completed Dec 27, 1867. This 5000 sq ft mansion was built using bricks fired in a kiln right in the farm. The original Apple House still stands behind the mansion.
