“I had a small wedding here and the backdrop was breathtaking. We exchanged vows in the gazebo and had the reception at the pavilion. My wife and I stay in their large guest house for a few days after the wedding and hiked down to a waterfall and a couple of caves. All the staff was kind and accommodating! We have a large event space, bridal suite, groom's suite, kitchen, outdoor courtyard, and outdoor ceremony site.

The space itself was lovely, open, and spacious - exactly what we were looking for. They even made sure to have additional tables brought in that weren't originally part of the venue, going above and beyond to accommodate our needs. While they no longer had the outdoor benches I had really wanted, the overall setting was still absolutely beautiful and made for an unforgettable day. From the stained glass windows to the working bell, we've brought this historic gem back to her former glory. The property where the church is located was purchased in May of 1886 as the First Ave Methodist - Episcopal Church. The bell tower was donated and built in 1888, with a bell brought from a foundry in Boston. The space is perfect for small intimate gatherings with a capacity of 125 as well as an outdoor space, kitchen, and Bridal Suite. Cottage available also! check out our website.
