“The Stroudmoor is a beautiful venue with the pituresque backdrop of rolling hills of Northern Pennsylvania. My wife and I settled on having our wedding at the Lawnhaven one of the multiple venue options at the Stroudmoor. Malia and her team made all of the prepartion and planning leading up to the wedding far less complicated than i thought it would be. Furthermore they continue to guide us through all the steps even working with us as we lived out of state. Honestly though, the WOW Factor didnt really sink in until the big day. Our bridal attendant was a super women. Her anticipation of our needs and magical ability to appear a the perfect moment with all of the attention to detail was more than we could have ever asked for. We arte incredibly greatful to all those involved in making our special day even that much more special.”

Throughout the planning process she was accommodating and flexible with meetings and tastings, working around our schedule as my daughter was living out of town. Her attention to detail was meticulous, incorporating our input at every step along the way. We received many compliments from our guests about the food, which was plentiful and delicious. In addition, we had to switch from the planned outdoor ceremony to indoors on 2 days notice based on a rainy forecast, and the transition was seamless with a beautiful set up for the ceremony, thanks to Dawn and her staff's very hard work being the scenes. The evening was everything we all had hoped for and I would highly recommend this venue.”

“Terri, Christina, And the staff at Downingtown Country Club helped make our wedding day the absolute best day of our lives! We were booked with DCC two years in advance and any questions we had along the way Terri was incredible at answering and doing what she could to make our day run smoothly. The staff was flexible with the weather (rained in the morning and sunny for the ceremony) and quickly set up our ceremony space so we could have it outside. The food was out of this world and was RAVED about by our guests. Everyone had an amazing time and if there was anything that I could do different, I wouldn’t change a thing. This is the most beautiful space for a wedding with wonderful and helpful staff- a must book location for your wedding!”

Chester County History Center is an exceptional and unique historic wedding venue located in the heart of downtown West Chester, PA.
