Tired of the same wedding barn look? This 1883 historic Laundry building is the epitome of a unique venue. It has several spaces to choose from- from an intimate 50 person ballroom to a larger 150 person main reception area. The outdoor terrace has beautiful party lights and allows the party to spill outside. There is also a 2 bedroom apartment that can be rented to use as a bridal suite or to house the couple. The space is set up with A/V and projector and comes with square tables for your use (or we can arrange for rounds). We are an open vendor venue and you can provide your own alcohol (with TABC bartending) saving you money. Stand out from the rest and hold your celebration in a venue steeped in history.

Because of this undivided attention, all our packages include guaranteed rehearsal time the day before, all day set up the day of, clean up the day after and on-site management for the duration of your event. As a small boutique hotel, overnight guest rooms can be added to any package! This makes day of preparations a breeze when everyone is in one place - no can be late or get lost! A private breakfast is included each morning for everyone staying and our Grand Hall makes the perfect gathering spot for your famly and friends to get aquainted over the weekend!

Built-in 1925, in the grand architectural style of Beaux-Arts Classical Revival, the Simon Theatre provided a splendid setting for many theatrical performances, film screenings and ballroom dances. The James Simon family commissioned Houston architect Alfred C. Finn, whose career included designing a number of prominent Houston buildings as well as the San Jacinto Monument, to design the theatre for the community of Brenham.
