The Retreat at Hempstead is nestled on five acres. The property includes a beautiful newly renovated 4900 sq. ft. country home - THE RETREAT HOUSE and a 1600 sq. ft. event venue - THE BARN at THE RETREAT. The Retreat House has 6 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, and kids/teen sleeping and lounge room. Accommodates 23 people (up to 28). Large game room with air hockey, shuffleboard, poker table and bar, living room area, dining table seats 14, breakfast room seats 6, and kitchen bar seating. The multi-purpose room with mounted flat screen television is ideal for meetings and presentations, wellness and yoga, arts and crafts.

Built for the Richard S. Willis family in 1854. Hodge Podge Lodge was originally called "Melrose" in memory of an estate owned by his ancestors in Scotland. The home started as a four room, story and a half house with a detached kitchen.
