The inn drew thousands of visitors for a three-day welcome celebration for the King Harbor opening and soon became a hangout for racers including Peter Revson, an F1 Grand Prix Winner. The Cannonball Run, a car race from New York to Los Angeles turned feature film, was first run in 1971 with The Portofino Inn as the final destination.

Hello! We are Hart & Main. Hart & Main is a one-of-a-kind wedding and event venue opening in Spring of 2022 with indoor and outdoor options to fit any occasion. This space is well equipped with a full commercial kitchen and bar, a beautiful rooftop deck, bridal and groom suites and will feature a Mid-century vibe. ​The owners, Rob and Lisa Younkin, purchased an old, family-owned auto repair shop in March of 2018, intending to build a small apartment complex, only to find out that idea did not work well with the lot size. So they decided to put their heads together, and the idea of a wedding and event venue took off. From there comes Hart & Main. The vision for Hart & Main is to create a purpose-built, versatile and differentiated event space for people to enjoy.

Tierra Rejada Ranch's Walnut Grove is snuggled in a pristine valley between the cities of Thousand Oaks and Moorpark. The property covers over 120 acres of prime Southern California land. Typical hot summer daytime temperatures are mild because of gentle ocean breezes from the west. Activities may be located in full sun, in the shade of tall 100' eucalyptus or under 50 year-old walnut trees planted by Monroe himself.
