During the 18th century, it served as a tavern on the Conestoga wagon trade. In the mid-19th century it became an inn and hosted numerous travelers. Purchased by James Hale & Louise McClure Steinman in 1927, it was fully renovated and restored in 1930 by architect Frank J. Everts. Among the venue’s many visitors was the great-nephew of Edgar Allan Poe. Pheasant Run Farm Bed and Breakfast is a 48 farm, the original stone barn of the farm has been lovingly re-purposed into a bed and breakfast. The bed and breakfast features 4 overnight rooms. The ground floor, with separate entrances, has a large banquet room and a separate adjoining space perfect for indoor ceremonies and dancing. Outside the doors of the reception rooms is a large brick patio and pollinator garden, just right for cocktail hour. At the edge of the woods is a huge Maple tree and a waterfall where most of our couples choose to have their wedding ceremony. Built in 1918, the Carlisle Ribbon Mill was a functioning ribbon mill until 1987. The building sat mostly empty until the MCcarren family bought the property in 2003. They spent the next few years bringing it back to life and 2006 started restoration on what is now the Carlisle Ribbon Mill Banquet Facility.

Historic Poole Forge is a 26-acre site with a preserved historic Ironmaster’s mansion, children’s playground, picnic pavilion, ball field, Nature Trail, Riparian Buffers, wildflower meadows, many beautiful gardens and a covered bridge along the Conestoga River in Eastern Lancaster County. We currently host a wide range of free public events, recreational and educational experiences. We restored our 1770’s Ironmaster’s mansion that serves as a heritage/community center and also a venue for private and public celebrations. We have also expanded our environmental and educational programs and opportunities for both children and adults while continuing our preservation of the Conestoga Creek, historic iron forge and grounds.

The Barn at Flying Hills is a 100 year old barn with it's authentic stone walls, barnwood floors, and beautiful ceremony garden out back. The Barn seats up to 125 guests and you are welcome to choose your own caterer and vendors to bring with you to your unique wedding. With the ceremony garden out back and two separate event rooms included with the venue rental, there is plenty of room to have your ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all in one place!

Located in the rolling hills in south central Pennsylvania, The Granary at Peach Glen offers a rustic and beautiful scene for any wedding celebrations. Views of the South Mountain Appalachian Ridge and surrounding apple orchards provide the perfect backdrop. In 1902, Elmer Thomas and his wife purchased the plot of land right off Peach Glen Road in Gardners, Pennsylvania. Here they settled and built their family home, while farming and harvesting the surrounding land. The Thomas family has continuously worked to restore and bring the property back to life. We are honored to have such a beautiful and historic piece of history still within the family to share with you for your special day.

When the building was initially constructed over a century ago, it was designed as a Presbyterian chapel in a completely different location. Dismantled and purchased in 1907; the remaining materials were moved to its current home. Today, it has a capacity of 120 guests and can comfortably host both intimate and extravagant celebrations.
