Cobblestone Courtyard
Heartwarming views and unforgettable moments.
Heartwarming views of the countryside frame this Belgian granite cobblestone courtyard, encircled by stone pillars and courtyard walls, which bestow an old-world flavor that hearkens to another time. Photos your children will cherish for years from now on are taken by an antique-tiled silo standing fall behind a white reception barn. Blooming flowers and creeping ivy vines blanket the stone trellis next to the dove covey bar. An intimate dinner is hosted in the newly-renovated bank barn with beautifully-crafted wood ceilings. Guests spill out onto the courtyard where they dance under a canopy of European-style lights that illuminate the sky. This venue is rich in character, richer still in the memories you'll make here.

Japanese Garden
An ethereal escape.
Moss-covered stones and a cascading waterfall lead into an enchanting garden. Guests step across a footbridge over Koi ponds to find hidden treasures in the carefully-selected stones forming Mr. North Wind, Crouching Tiger, and the Sea Turtle. Air, scented by peonies, rhododendrons, daffodils and azaleas, creates a tranquil escape. An archway through a tall hedge leads the way to a ceremony site, and a bride and groom marry underneath the wide, blue sky. Then, the wedding party strolls to the grandeur of a castle-like tent with stunning views of the vast landscape, saturated with rolling hills and the Susquehanna River. The word on everyone's lips..."ethereal."

Sunken Garden
The night, as you both dreamed it would be, is magical.
Guests gather around a lily pond in an exquisite sunken garden. A bride descends flagstone steps to meet her groom under a hushed cathedral of ancient trees. Family and friends sip cocktails around the circa-1920s swimming pool, encased by wrought iron gates dripping in summer roses, iris, azaleas, and hydrangeas. The expertise of famed New York landscape architect Charles Downing Lay--think Bryant Park in Manhattan--is presented in three tiers, layered to showcase water as the central theme. An elegant tent over-arches the reception and dance floor, with a backdrop of the river at sunset. The night, as you both dreamed it would be, is magical.
